지난 주말에 시부모님이 올라오시기로 되어있어서 토욜에는 딸래미 친구네 집에 보내버리고 대청소를 했답니다. ㅋㅋ
직장다니면서 청소하기가 쉽지만은 않더라구요. 그래서 저희 집은 일욜에 몰아서 청소하는 습관이 생겨서 토욜 혼자서 몽땅 청소하려니 죽을 맛이더라구요.
그랬더니 몸과 맘이 다~~ 정신이 없네여. ^^
아침대문 간단히 엽니다. 모두들 주말에 뭐하고 지내셨는지 알려주세염.

"잘 모르겠단다. 집에 돌아오면 그 때 함께 하자꾸나.
그때 같이 좋은 시간 보내자꾸나."
Well, my son turned ten just the other day.
He said, thanks for the ball, dad. come on, lets play.
Could you teach me to throw?
I said, not today. I got a lot to do.
며칠전 아들이 열살이 되었지.
"공 사주셔서 고마워요,아버지. 같이 공놀이 해요"
던지는 법 좀 알려주세요.
난 말했지, "오늘은 안된단다. 오늘은 할 일이 많단다."
He said, that's okay. and he walked away but he smile never dimmed,
he said,you know, I'm gonna be like him, yeah.
You know I'm gonna be like him.
아들은 말했지. "괜찮아요" 아들은 걸어 나갔지만 미소를 잃지 않았지,
"아시죠? 난 아버지 같은 사람이 될꺼에요, 그럼요."
"난 아버지 같은 사람이 될거에요"

글쎄, 며칠전 아이가 대학에서 다니러 왔지
다 큰 어른인 것 같아서 이렇게 말해 버렸지
"난 네가 참 대견하구나. 여기 좀 앉아볼래?"
He shook his head and he said with a smile,
what I'd really like, dad, is to borrow the car keys.
See you later. can I have them please ?
아들은 고개를 저었지, 그리고 웃으며 말했다네
"아버지 자동차 열쇠나 빌렸으면 해요.
나중에 뵐께요. 자동차 열쇠 좀 주실래요?"

"잘 모르겠어요, 하지만 그 때 함께해요.
아시죠? 그 때 같이 좋은 시간 보내요.
I've long since retired, my sons moved away.
I called him up just the other day.
I'd like to see you, if you don't mind.
난 오래 전에 은퇴를 했고, 아들은 멀리 이사가 버렸지
며칠전 아들에게 전화를 했지.
"괜찮다면 한 번 만났으면 싶구나."
He said, I'd love to, dad, if I could find the time.
You see my new jobs a hassle and the kids have the flu,
But it's sure nice talkin' to you, dad.
It's been sure nice talkin' to you.
아들은 말했지, "나에게 시간이 있으면 나도 그러고 싶어요.
새 직장에선 바쁘고, 아이들은 독감에 걸렸어요"
하지만 이렇게 얘기하니 좋네요, 아버지...
얘기하니 좋아요"
And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me,
He'd grown up just like me.
My boy was just like me.
전화를 끊으면서 문득 이런 생각이 들었지,
아들이 정말 나처럼 자랐구나
아들이 나랑 똑같이 돼버렸구나
