Ch 2 Answer Key to Comprehension
1 | Harry said, “Me paint you.” What did Harry mean and how did Nate get him wrong? Harry meant, “I will paint your body.” but Nate thought he was going to paint a picture of him. |

2 | What happened in Harry’s room? He had painted many pictures and put them on the wall. He also painted the wall, one slipper and a doorknob. It was a mess. |

3 | The orange color was the clue to solve the case. How did it work for Nate? Harry only used red paint but the monster was painted in orange. That means he painted a monster over Annie’s picture which was in yellow. The red color mixed with yellow turned out orange. So Annie’s picture was on the wall of Harry’s room. |

4 | So science has helped Nate solve the mystery. Unless he had known about the color change, he could not have found Annie’s stolen picture. Science is not just a school work. It is part of our life. What do you learn in a science class these days? Choose one topic and write what you learned.
