Hi Everyone? It is so great to see you all!
I am a leader of 17±â book club, Alex Park, ¹ÚÇö¿í. I am attending Woodberry Forest School in U.S as a senior, and will graduate this upcoming spring. Right now I am still on my summer vacation in Korea (my home is busan), but will soon leave for U.S in about a week.
We had many good students who were very diligent and enthusiastic. And I am very sure that we will have some more of those people this time. What I do as a leader of this book club is making worksheet that I will upload every Monday unless we have a break, and most importantly sharing my ideas with you by commenting on your answers. I actually enjoy a lot reading all your works because I do learn a lot of new ideas from you all. So, please don't hesitate to share your ideas with me and writing about them on your worksheet.
I understand that Book Club can be very annoying and burdensome because you have to read every week and do and upload the assignment every weekend. Also, it doesn't have a good teacher to keep you from being slack. However, if you tighten up yourself and become a hard-worker, I promise you that your English skills will improve very much. Being diligent is everything about book club, I believe.
I also think book club is a community. You share your ideas not only with me but also with other members of the book club by letting them read your ideas. That's why you upload your work on an open spot. And so, let's introduce ourself to each other so that we can be somewhat more intimate. Tell us some interesting things about yourself!!
I will upload our first assignment on SEPTEMBER 9TH. Due day of each assignment is a week after the upload. Below is our schedule for Dirty Bertie Series:Worms, Fleas, Pants, Burp, Yuck, Crackers, Bogeys, Mud, Germs, Loo, Fetch, Fangs, Kiss, Ouch, Snow, Pong, Pirate, and Scream
I am very excited to begin a new series with new people and with old people as well, and will be expecting to see some great works!Have a great week and see you next week!!
