No person has ever had a painless life. It would be dull if there were such people, because those wouln't have that special something that is dear to them. We have our family which is a source of our happiness but also a reason for pain. We can't always be happy for it would be against the definition of the word to be so. Imagine the only thing you had to love was a rag doll. You would be happy for your companion yet sad because there isn't much you can do for it. In this book, Alyosha is constantly being driven to and fro because of his two brothers. But he loves them. Even with their many faults. For this part of the book, I would like you to find things or people that you are willing to love in spite of the hardships they might give.

It seems like everyone is determined to love their family in spite of the hardships they might give, and I will always love them too. They are the ones who are the most loyal to me. I am also willing to love the musical instruments I can play, which are the violin and the piano. Sometimes I get the feeling that I just want to give up altogether, because it seems impossible to play it perfectly. But everytime I feel like quitting, I am motivated to pick up the instrument and start practicing again because I can't abandon the beautiful music it makes, and this has kept me from quitting music at times of hardships.

I have not lived very long, so I don't have something or someone that I have deep devotion to. I love my family, my mother, my father, and my sister will support me till they die, and I am planning to do likewise for them. I think, whatever that you will devote yourself for the rest of your life will be your loving family. My family always were there for me when I am going through hardship, so I am guessing unless they wound me in a betrayal, or something along that line, I will love them in spite the hardships they might give.

Well, of course, I love my sister. But sometimes, it's so hard to just love her and not get angry at her, because she always teases me like the fact that I'm fat or I didn't get good grades on the test. And the most hard thing is that she gives me orders, saying 'do this Thresa, do that Thresa and I got tired of that and I'm very sick of it. But, still, she's my sister and she cares about me so I can't stop loving her. And also, some of friends does not approve of me and talks bad things about me, and it really hurts me when some of my classmates do such things. But, friends sometimes fights and it is not good to dislike a friend so I guess that some of my friends are the persons that I am willing to love in spite of the hardships they might give.
