II. Reading Comprehension

Answer the following questions below.

1. What did you think would have happened when you first saw the cover of Marvin Redpost 1: Kidnapped at Birth? Did you guess correctly when you finished the book?

No, I didn’t. I thought, ‘This main character will be baby. The character will kidnap at his (her) birth.’. But it wasn’t! Marvin isn’t baby and he wasn’t kidnapped at his birth. However, he thinks he was kidnapped at birth.

2. How did Marvin feel from hearing King Shampoon’s search for his lost son? What made Marvin think that way?

Marvin thinks he will be Prince Robert. Because, when Marvin says he was kidnapped at birth to his friends. His friends say, he will be the lost son of the King Shampoon. So he begins to think he is Prince Robert.

3. Why did Lady Jennifer like Marvin more than any other boy who called about being the lost son of King Shampoon?

It is because Lady Jennifer was nice talking with Marvin. She would feel happy and ***** when she talked with Marvin. So she likes him and she wants Marvin is the lost son of King Shampoon.

Yes. I think Marvin’s parent feel upset. But they would believe Marvin is their son. They know the answer. However they would feel upset very little. And they want to Marvin come back to Marvin’s house.

5. Even though Marvin found out his blood type was O negative, he suddenly thought that he was no longer the lost son of King Shampoon. Why did he think this way?

It is because he has red hair and blue eyes. And if the blood type is O negative, a one person in the receive O negative, he is the lost son of King Shampoon.

Sometimes I’ve felt that my parents were not my actual parents. Have you ever felt that way? Write when and why. This answer should be at least 9 sentences long.

I had the feeling. When I was young, I felt my parents were not my actual parents. It is because my parents felt angry at me. Before they felt angry, I have a test. The test’s result was bad. But I think I study very hard but they would not think same me. So they yelled at me. That time, I felt sad and they are not my parents. And I felt angry, too. However, I know my parents are my actual parents. I love their!

채원이 글을 읽으니 아주 뜨끔합니다.
우리 부모들이 아이들에게 참 상처를 많이주는데 반성도 안하고 아이들탓만 하지요.
채원이, 영어 글쓰기가 한층 업된것같아요,,
영어도 수학도 아주 자신감 넘치는모습!!보기좋아요^^

재밌는 마빈 읽으니 글쓰기도 더 잘되나 봐요.^^
저희 아이 포함해서 자신을 야단치는 부모를 그래도 사랑한다고 말해주니 얼마나 고마운지요.

제가 진정한 꼴지네요 ^ ^

12기 글쓰기를 조금 쉬었다 다시 시작하려니 역시 어렵네요

이번부터 꾸준히 다시 시작하는 마음으로 해보겠습니다

아이의 글쓰기를 잘 모아서 아이의 변화를 느껴보고 싶습니다

마지막 Free Question 에서는 한번도 그렇게 생각해본적이 없다고 해서 그럼 엄마, 아빠가 제일 싫을때를 적어보라고 했습니다.

저 역시 아이의 모습에서 변화되었음 하는 것을 글로 적어서 서로 교환해서 보았습니다..

정말 잘했네요.~ 저도 같이 writing을 해보려고 책을 읽긴 했는데 정작 해보진 못했어요. 2권부터는 노력을 좀 해보려고 해요. 전 안하면서 애한테만 하라고 하기가 좀 그렇단 생각이 있었는데 민규예린맘님처럼 저도 지원이랑 서로 교환해서 글을 써야겠어요.~

늘 12기 아이들 글 올라오는 내용 잘 보고는 있는데 댓글을 자주 못달고 아이가 미션을 즐기지 않아서 조금 쉰다는 것이 너무 오래 쉰듯한 느낌입니다

아 글구 혼내는일도 있으믄 칭찬할때도 있어야 공평하지 그건 아빠가 잘못했내 그려...ㅋㅋㅋ
이거 나도 맨날 듣는 말이유...나한테 혼나구 나는 화가 안풀려 있고 하면 옆에서 들으라고 울면서 엄마는 칭찬도 하나두 안해주구 맨날 화만 내구 징징징...ㅋㅋ

I can see the anger inside you. Good job on showing your anger well. However, tt's cool to be angry at your mom but let's not use the word "hate."
