미국 사회를 이해하는데 도움이 될듯 싶어 열심히 읽어보렵니다 ^^

1. 펜실바니아의 Rosetan들은 미국내에서 다른 사회와의 접촉이 거의 없이 자급자족 도시로 자리를 잡아왔는데요,
이곳에 사는 Rosetan들은 다른 미국인과는 달리 65세 이전에 심장병으로 사망한 사람이 거의 없었지요.
이를 조사한 결과 심장병 발병이 낮은 주 원인은 식이요법, 특이체질, 지리적 문제가 아니라,
삼대가 함께 살면서 조부모들을 존경하고, 교회를 중심으로 소통하면서, 현대사회의 스트레스를 차단하는
차별된 사회구조를 가지고 있었기에 가능했다고 결론을 내리게 됩니다.
