The Thief

Chapters 10~12

 Gen comes out and faces the Magus. And holds out the Hamiathes’s Gift. The magus is simply delighted. And he praises Gen as he never done before.

 The journey back was hard. They were out of food, and while they were traveling, they met some Attolian soldiers. And after they fought and won, they found out that the Hamiathes’s Gift was gone. They searched for it for a long time, but it didn’t show up. So the Magus finally gave up, and they went on in their journey.

 It became harder, and harder. They were out of food, so Gen had to steal some. He had to steal horses too. But when they came to Eddis, soldiers follow them again. And Gen fights them. And they all are in the cell of Attolia. But they escape, and go to Eddis. And it turns out that Gen was the queen’s thief, Eugendes. And he had the Hamiathes’s gift, after all.

The Thief

A thief is in the cells of Sounis. The magus calls for him. The thief is brought. And magus asks him for help. To help him accompanying him on a search for a mysterious stone.

The search is about a stone called Hamiathes’s Gift. And the thief, whose name is Gen, is to retrieve it from the place where legend says it’s hidden. The journey includes the magus, a soldier named Pol, and the magus’s apprentices, Ambiades and Sophos. And, of course, the thief, Gen. They traveled for many nights and many days. Going through countries like Attolia and Eddis.

But they eventually arrive at the place. The place where the stone was kept. And Gen has only three chances till the river swells. The first time, and the second time, he failed. But the third time, with the gods’ help, he finds it. The Hamiathes’s Gift.

Traveling back was not easy. They were out of food, so they had to steal some. And Attolian soldiers chased them, and while they fought, the magus loses the Gift. But the Magus just continued the journey. Saying he could make a copy.

And while they travel, Attolian soldiers chased them again. But Gen alone fights, and the others flee. But eventually they all get caught. And Pol and Ambiades is dead. And the fight leaves an angry wound on Gen’s chest.

One night, Gen, the magus, and Sophos escapes. And through the tunnels, they go to Eddis. It turns out that Gen is the Eddis queen’s thief (Which is a high place in court), Eugenides. And Eugenides had the Hamiathes’s Gift all this time. So the thief triumphs again.

책사랑님께서 넌픽션으로 하자 하셨는데 렉사일 6~700대 넌픽션 찾는게 만만치 않네요.

이게 조금만 쉬우면 그림책으로 내려가서 써머리하기가 부적당하고 (특히 과학류)

조금만 생각꺼리가 있으면 단계가 훌쩍 올라가네요. (특히 철학류)

그래서 처음이라 누구나 잘 아는 쉬운 책을 추천해 봅니다.

1 Who was 시리즈 중 Steve Jobs (렉사일 660)

얼마전에 작고하신 스티브 잡스가 벌써 나왔네요.

시사적인 인물이라 아이들도 흥미있어 할 것 같구요... 그 뒤에

아래 책 등과 연계하여 진행해도 좋을 것 같아요.

제 생각은 6월달도 계속 진행했으면 해요

시험 닥쳐서 1,2주 미루어서 하면 되잖아요

불을 활활 피우지는 못하더라도 작은 불씨마저 꺼뜨리면 안 될 것 같아서요

사실 6월달 이끌어갈 수 있을까도 걱정스럽네요

하지만 거북이처럼 쉬지않고 가면 언젠가? 정상에 도달할 날이 오겠지요~~

저의 작은 바램이지만요~~ 그 정상을 생각하며.......

바쁜 5월은 잘 지내셨지요!

벌써 6월달입니다

중간 끝난지 얼마 안 지난 것 같은데...

기말 준비할 시기가 오다니~

뿌잉이는 기말 이야기만 나와도 벌써부터 기겁합니다

천천히 달래서 6월 한 달 달려봐야지요~~

ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

마니바쁘시죠???

엠디가 영어책읽는것을 필수로 하지않아서 늘 고민이어요.

원서읽고 듣고 써머리하는것이 영어공부의 지름길인것 같은데,,,

요즘은 2학기때부터 2학년이 선도부활동을 한다고 들떠있어요.

학교 분위기 망치는아이들 단속하시겠다고 별르고 있더라구요.

다음책 고민도 해봐야지요??????

이번엔 논픽이 어떨까싶어요.

중간고사가 많이 늦춰져서 제자리 잡기 힘들지요??

5월초 셤이었던 세라도 아직까지 걍 연착륙중입니다. 그만큼 5월은 정상궤도로 달리기 힘드네요^^

제임스는 그럼 기말도 많이 늦춰지겠네요??? 이제 우린 기말준비 들어가야하는디 ㅎㅎ

우리 또 천천히 시동걸면서 정상궤도 진입해봅시다~
