2. 나의 애칭

One day, My son started to say "가보트" while writing strange letters in which his sketch book.

Seeing his letters on it, i was a lot impressive how he could imagine about his creative letters.

And i thought all kind of children they have imaginations through their  own thoughts and they are better than adults sometimes.

4. Special someone we could meet.

In my opinion, someone who is special we can meet in our lives by chance gives us sort of influencies or inspirations to us when spending our whole life of which we can make.
And he or she gives us special vision of our life.

In my teenage, I could meet my teacher who gave me a cheering always. She told me one day,

"In our lives, we can draw many graphs. and in this graph of life, sometimes we can draw a top point with joy, sometimes we can draw a bottom point with sorrow. Even though you feel pain and sorrow now, that means you can draw raising line again from the bottom to the top. so, don't be frustrated of your present. "

this words meant to me through spending my life. and then after I could write a story as a writer. She really gave me a motovations.

5. not lead my kid, just stand by him. and walk together side by side as a good friend.

-She grinned and said, "That's a new record."

-The kids laughed, poked and punched each other, and head off down the block.

-The reporter looked closely and saw that each kid was holding up a pen, and each little mouth was puckered in the same way.

*grin 활짝 웃다.

a broad smile.

*pucker 오물거리다.

a tightly gathered wrinkle or small fold, especially on a person's face.

  이 책을 읽으며 학창 시절 선생님도 생각나고 지금 선생님인 저의 모습도 되돌아보게 하네요.

3. I was caught in the act of skipping the self-study after school when I was a high school student. I raised my hands with my classmates in the teacher's room.

4. I liked a Korean teacher. He was very tall and looked handsome for me.

5. I teach the students how to catch the fish, not get them. I want my children to find their way on their own. I help them to go forward and support them.

닉은 어렸을 때 자신만의 말을 만들어 썼던 것을 기억해내고 pen을 frindle이라고 새로운 이름 짓기를 했습니다.

만들기만 하는게 아니라 문구점에서 설명없이 반복 사용하기도 하고 친구들과 함께 사용하면서 frindle 이란 단어 학생들에게 널리 사용하게 만드네요~

제 딸은 잘 때 사용하는 핑크 담요가 있습니다. 아직도 사용하는 애착 담요 인데 어렸을 때 담요를 발음 잘 하지 못하니 ‘나뇨’라고 썼네요~

3.

초등학교때 단체로 잘못해서 책상위에 올라가서 한시간 넘게 있었던 거 같습니다. ^^‘’

5.

아직도 열심히 교육철학을 세우기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

우선 아이가 스스로 선택하고 자기 주도적으로 할수 있게 도움을 주고 싶은데 하루에도 몇 번이나 맞게 하고 있는지 고민 또 고민 하고 있네요~

닉은 어렸을 때 자신만의 말을 만들어 썼던 것을 기억해내고 pen을 frindle이라고 새로운 이름 짓기를 했습니다.

1. 닉이 pen에 frindle이라는 새로운 이름짓기를 했네요. 친구들끼리 사용하기로 하고 이를 문구점에서 어떤 설명없이 반복사용하니 상대방이 이를 인지하기 시작했어요. 그 후 학교 수업시간에도 사용하며 일이 생기네요.

2. 유아어를 몇 가지 사용하지는 않았지만 "회"를 아이와 "간장물고기"라 불렀던 적이 있네요.

3. 크게 벌 받은 기억은 없는데 생각해보니 단체로 받은 벌들은 몇 가지 떠오르네요. 책상에 올라가 무릎꿇고 손들기(다리도 아프고 팔도 아프고) 성적 떨어진만큼 회초리맞기, 머리박기 왜 혼났는지는 모르겠어요. 그냥 단체로 다 했어요.

4. 누구를 쉽게 좋아하고 따르고 하는 성격이 아닌데 중학교 1학년 담임선생님은 매우 좋아했던 기억이 있네요. 역사전공선생님이셔서 나도 나중에 역사 전공해야지 하는 꿈도 갖은 적도 있었고요.

5. 나의 교육관은 이것이다. 라고 확정적으로 가지고 있는 건 아직 없네요. 열심히 찾아야 겠어요.

  그래도 계속적으로 내 의식속엔 아이가 선택할 수 있게 하자. 즉 스스로 생각해서 결정할 수 있는 능력 갖추기가 아닐런지, 또 즐겁게 느끼도록 하자가 기본적으로 가진 생각인 것 같아요.

Frindle 2nd mission

1.
Nick made a plan to say "frindle" without any explanation about what it means.  Instead of saying a word, "PEN", Nick says " frindle." Some of his friends also decided to say "frindle" ; furthrmore, they made an oath to keep use frindle.

2.
That is really amazing experience to have own words to communicate with someone who i trully loved. I had experience to commuicate with my kids with using "baby sing" when my kids were babies. My kids were too young to say a word; but at this moment, i really wanted to communicate with them. They expressed their feelings or indicating things by thier hands.For example, when they wanted to drink milk, they used hands to express the action of squeezing of cow's breast.

3.

I can think of my life at middle-school.
My school's teacheres were so strict for the regulations. They used a stick to hit the student's hands or legs. I also hit by serveral times for the lower score, or missing the homework. To be honest, that is the worest memory in my life so far.

4.
Unfortunatley, i can't think of my good teachers in my school life in Korea. Luckily, i met the a nice cooking teacher in Canada. He was one of my teachers in my major at univeristy of Canada. For me, because of having home sick from the boring or stressful univeristy life, he listened my problems with open-mined. i still missed him a lot.

5.
Nick's own creative way of thinking is need for the future life. My educational mind is not that special. I just want to my kids to be happy whatever they choose. I hope that my kids know not only the way of enjoying the life; but also, the process of overcoming failture.

바쁘신와중에도 제날짜에  이리  미션  챙겨주시니  더더욱  감솨합니당~~~
