[기타]오이마사지

오이를 썰다가..지난번 파자마파티때 오이마사지를 하지 못해 서운했던 것이 기억나 마사지 해 주었답니다.

요즘엔 영어 안합니다.

스스로 말하고 싶어질 때까지 기다리고 있습니다.

가끔 혼자 영어로 중얼거리다가, 엄마한테까지 영어로 말을 하기도 하는데,

바로 말을 바꾸더군요.

역시 기다려야겠습니다.

나중에 영어로 말할 때 다시 해보려고 영작을 해 보았습니다.

오늘은 엄마가 오이로 마사지를 해 줄게.

First I have to rinse a cucumber and slice it with this knife on the cutting board.

먼저 오이를 씻고 도마에서 이 칼로 잘라야 해.

I’m ready. Here are some slices.

다 됐다. 여기 오이조각이 있지.

Why don’t you lie down on the bed.

침대에 누워볼래.

I’ll put the slices on your face.

오이조각을 얼굴에 놓아줄게.

Let them stay for 5 minutes.

5분 동안 놔둬.

If you have sunburn, a cucumber will soothe your face and make your face white.

네가 햇볕에 타면, 오이가 너의 얼굴을 진정시켜주고 얼굴을 하얗게 해 줄거야.

(5 minutes later)

5분 후에.

Time’s over.

시간 됐다.

Now I’ll take them off.

이제 떼어줄게.

Wipe your face with this wet towel.

이 젖은 수건으로 얼굴을 닦아.

How do you feel?

기분이 어때?.

네 얼굴이 눈처럼 하얘졌다.
