크리스마스에 산타클로스와 선물을 기다리는 아이의 사랑스러운 마음을 읽을 수 있는 책이에요.
산타에 관한 핑거플레이를 먼저해았어요.
위씽 크리스마스라는 비디오와 위씽 children's song and fingerplays에도 등장하는 이 핑거플레이는 무척 간단하고 쉽답니다.
그리고 이 책의 맨 뒷부분에 포함된 플레쉬카드를 이용해서 크리스마스와 관련된 단어를 익혀보았어요
이 카드와 크리스마스와 관련 없는 카드들을 가방에 넣었다가 한장씩 꺼내서 분류해보는 게임도 해보았어요.
1. finger play.
책 23페이지, 아래의 그림을 보면서 굴둑과 산타가 굴뚝으로 드나드는 것을 설명해줘요.
이런구조의 집에 사는 분도 계시겠지만, 아파트에 살다보니 굴뚝도 없어서 설명이 필요한 것 같아요
On christmas, santa will come.
Look at this picture.
Here is a chimney.
Santa goes into the chimney.
And put some present under the tree.
Let's play a fingerplay about santa.

엄지손가락을 손안에 숨기고 손을 내밀어요
Here is the top,
다른 손을 그위에 덮어요
Open the lid,
뚜껑을 열듯,손을 열고
Out Santa will pop!
pop할 때 엄지손가락을 번쩍 세워요.
2. Storytelling
Who is it?
Yes, He is santa claus.
What is he doing?
Santa is filling the stocking with gifts.
Candycane, toy elephant and so on.
His sack is full of presents.
And the little boy is smileing on the stairs.
He says, " Is that you Santa?"
Is that really santa?
O.K. Le's read the story.
It's snowy day.
It is white christmas.
I love white christmas.
i hope we have snow on christmas day.
Tomorrow is christmas day.
What a beautiful tree it is!

The reindeer have some bells.

Santa has a sack full of christmas gift.

The pretty puppy, the brend-new bike, and so on.

3. Flash card sorting
이 시리즈의 특징은 주요단어가 그림으로 표시되고 그 그림들이 맨뒤에 플래쉬카드로 붙어 있어요.
뒤에 붙어있는 플래쉬카드 중 크리스마스와 관련된 카드에 관해서 간단히 설명하고
크리스마스카드와 다른 카드를 분류하는 게임을 해보았어요.

사실 크리스마스의 가장 중요한 개념이잖아요.
