Poverty in a rich world
: 관심과여유님의 글입니다.
안녕하세요? 해리입니다. 오늘 엄마의 부추김에 의해 글을 쓰게 되는군요.
이번 프로잭트는 최저임금, 기부, 세금, 진정한 부자에 대한 토픽은 아주 대화할 거리가 많은 것 같았습니다.
저는 6min를 하니까 더 많은 상식이 생기고 가족과의 대화가 더 많아지더라고요. 그래서 저는 이 프로잭트를 늦게라도 참여한것이 좋아요. BBC는 현재 사회나 역사적 인물, 사람 등을 다루고 있으므로 더욱 공감이 가는 듯 하더라고요. 저는 지역 사회에게 묻고 싶었죠,"부자로 죽으면 그 모든 것을 무덤으로 들고 갈 것인가요?"
이번에는 동생 Robin도참여했어요. 로빈(special guest))도 같이 셋이 참여하니 더 재미있네요. 한 번 들어봐주세요.

Hello this time we talked about the wealth of rich people with a better chance of living and on the other hand people with less opportunities and less money.
According to Oxfam only 1% of the richest people have 48% of all the money in the world. And still is growing. So by in some time the richest 1% will own more than half of the rest of the world.
And another problem that came up. Taxes. Richer people are trying to pay as little taxes as possible. But some like Bill Gates a one of a kind I should say. He and her wife after retiring is helping the poor and suggesting that other millioners help the poor too.
Andrew Carnegie once said “The man who dies rich, dies disgraced.” I thought of Carnegie’s word and thought and thought. The more I thought about it, I more realized he was right and that we need to donate.
If you die rich are you going to hull it to your grave?
