Myspeaking skill
1. Listen more than speaking (But, provide the subject)
Me: Hello!
Friend: Oh, hello!
Me: Do you know what is the 'Math teacher problem'?
Friend: Yes, of course! The teacher was so angry! She was so angry that she screamed at us and stopped the class. We all needed to write that question 100 times! So, after she went to the teacher's room, we all talked about that teacher! Even quiet and kind Rosa was angry too!
2. NEVER argue your friend's statement and chime in with your friend.
Me: Oh, really?? Rosa was never angry since she came in this school! She was always happy!
Friend: I really hate that teacher.
Me: Yeah, me too.
Friend: You should be happy that you have a better math teacher.
Me: Phew! (O)
Me: Oh, really?? Rosa was never angry since she came in this school! She was always happy!
Friend: I really hate that teacher.
Me: Yeah, me too.
Friend: You should be happy that you have a better math teacher.
Me: Well, I think my teacher is the most bad teacher in this school! (X)
At the discussion of Rob and Neil, there are speaking skills like saying your name had just slipped my mind if you forgot a person's name, breaking the ice with talking about the weather first.
My speaking skills are listening more than speaking and not arguing my friend's statement. If we speak more than listening, friends wouldn't have enough time to speak all the topics and stories that they wants to tell. And if we argue our friend's statement, they will be angry at us.
on my experience, I think that listening more than speaking and not arguing my friend's statement is the best speaking skill.
