Christmas truce

During the world war 1, in 1914 , the soldiers who took part in the war, fed up their situation.

They believed that they could go back to their home on christmas 1914. But they couldn't.

At chirstmast night, the German soldiers began to sing a song suddenly and spontaneouly.

The song was a carol, Silent night Holy night

It means they would stop fighting. After that both trenches soldiers started getting know each others.

This event was called The Christmas Truce.

Of course, the authorities didn't permit this kind of events any more.

So the soldiers had to keep it different way. It was football.

The soldiers are the men who have to fight and attack the enemy, but the are also human.

That was the time human spirit rose above wars.

계속계속 뭔가 일이 생기네요...핑계겠지만...ㅋㅋ 남편이 휴가를 내서 같이 있는데다 여기저기 다니느라 간신히 했어요....ㅜㅜsummary 가 영 이상하네요...ㅎㅎ

그래도 숙제 내는것에 의의를 둡니다용~~^^
