그 푸르름 위로 유유히 떠다니는 구름 한점. 작은 구름 한 점이 보드라운 양이 되고 언젠가 보았을 비행기가 되었다가 ...늘 떠다니는 자신이지만 언제나 그 자리에 머물러 있는 나무가 부러웠었나 봅니다.
우리 아이들은 어떤 구름이 되고 싶을까요? 길을 가다가 하늘을 올려다 보면서 나눌 이야기도 많을 것 같네요. 이젠 영어로?!
이 책을 가지고
기후의 변화와 구름의 종류를 보여주면서 공부 좀 하구요,
little cloud가 되고 싶었던 것들 그림에 다양한 재료를 이용해서 꾸며보구요,
아이들이 구름이라면 되고싶은 것을 풀그림으로 그려보면 좋겠지요?

1> Picture reading

What can you see in the sky?
아이들 마다 본 것들을 말하면 영어로 된 완벽한 문장으로 만들어서 들려주지요.
예를 들어 "해(the sun)"를 보았다고 하면
Right, We can see the sun.
The sun is shining in the sky.
그 외에도 아이들이 본 것들은 많이 있겠지요...구름, 비행기, 무지개 등등.
구름이야기가 나온다면 놓지지 말고,

아이와 어떤구름을 보았었는지에 대해 이야기를 나누고 구름이 어떻게 해서 비를 내리는지에 대한
이야기도 잠깐 해주고 나서 책을 읽어주세요.

작업(?)이 끝난다음에 아이들은 모두 little cloud가 되지요. 그리고 나서 어떤 구름이 되고싶은지 묻고 노래도 불러보아요. 각자가 꾸민 구름이 되고싶다고 말하면서...꼭 첵에 나온 것이 아니어도 괜찮겠지요.

3>풀그림 그리기
또다른 작업 하나 소개할께요. 바로 다들 잘 아시는 풀그림 그리기!
도배할 때 쓰는 밀가루 풀을 검은 비닐에 넣어서 이 비닐을 돌아가면서 만져보고 느낌이 어떤지, 그것이 무엇인지 알아맟추기 놀이를 해도 재미있어요.

밀가루풀을 만드는 방법을 간단하게 설명해 주지요.

Ok, You can make it in your home with your mom.
You need some water and flour.
First, You should mix the water and smoe flour.
Second, you should boil it.

아이들에게 푸른색 도화지 한장씩 나눠주고 그것이 하늘이라고 생각하고 하늘에 떠다니는 그름을 자유롭게 그리도록 유도해요.
These are blue papers.
It's blue sky, (아이이름), this is yours.
Draw a cloud in your blue sky.
처음에 풀을 손에 묻히길 주저한다면...다음 방법을 서보세요.처음 한 번 묻히 그 다음엔 걱정할 것 없지요.
깨끗이 씻어주는 일 말고는.
