생소한 동물울음 소리가 많이 나와서 참 활용하기가 어려웠어요.. 그래서 What do you hear?의 표현을 익힌다고 생각하며 스토리텔링을 준비했지요.. 아이들의 주의를 끌기위해 딸랑이를 준비해서 아이들에게 보이지 않게(식탁에서 하면 식탁밑에, 상에서 하면 상밑에서) 소리를 낸 다음 아이들에게 질문을 하죠. What's this sound? What do you hear? (무슨 소리지? 무슨 소리가 들리니?)Do you hear the doorbell? (초인종 소리가 들리니?)-- No.. Do you hear the telephone ringing? (그럼, 따르릉.전화벨 소리가 들리니?--- No.It's the rattle . I hear the rattle, rattle, rattle. ( 딸랑이란다. 딸랑 딸랑 소리가 들리지..) 재미로 간단하게 청력검사도 해봅니다. I will shake the rattle near your ear.( 너의 귀에 딸랑이를 흔들테니)If you hear the sound from your right ear, raise your right hand.(오른쪽 귀에서 소리가 들리면 오른손을 들고.)If you hear the sound from your left ear, raise your left hand.(왼쪽 귀에서 소리가 들리면 왼손을 들어라..) 이렇게 소리에 대한 흥미를 유발시킨후 좀더 다양한 소리를 접해보며 What do you hear?이라는 표현을 익혀봤어요. 아이가 어릴때 듣던 CD 중에 자연의 소리등 우리 주변의 소리만 모아둔게 한개 쯤 있을거예요. 그 CD를 틀어 주며 무슨 소리인지 알아 맞춰보았지요. You can hear some sounds from the CD player and guess what sound it is.What do you hear? -- I hear a cat. / I hear a dog. / I hear a train. / I hear a helicopter/ I hear raindrops..... 또한 본문에 fluting, trumpeting 이라는 표현이 나오므로 간단하게 피아노, 트럼펫,플릇,바이올린의 소리도 들어 보았어요. 클래식 CD엔 보통 협주곡이어서 이렇게 하나의 악기로 연주하는건 찾기가 힘들더군요. 다행히 트럼펫 독주, 2대의 바이올린 협주곡, 피아노 소나타, 징징징 바이올린 이라는 책에 딸린 CD에서 플릇 소리등을 찾아서 테이프에 녹음을 해서 들려 주었죠.. What do you hear? It's one of the musical instruments.I hear a piano/ I hear a trumpet./ I hear a flute./ I hear a violin. 책에 나오는 동물들을 소개하기 위해 동물원을 만들어 보았어요.하드보드지에 칼집을 내면 밑에 보이는 사진처럼 접을 수가 있어요. Let's go to the zoo. Here it is. But something's wrong. Yes.there are no animals. Where are they? Tadan ~~ 이렇게 하면서 책에 나오는 동물들을 소개하며 이름을 한번씩 익혀봅니다.그림은 스캔을 해서 만들었어요. 파일 첨부해 올릴께요 ^^이름을 익혔으면 각각의 동물들을 동물원의 우리에 넣어줍니다. 그냥 한마리씩 하는것 보다는 퀴즈를 풀면서 하는게 더욱더 좋겠죠. We found all the animals. Polar bear : It is a large white bear that lives near the North Pole.Zebra : It is an Africa wild horse with black and white stripes over its body.Walrus : It looks like a large seal. It has long thin legs and a long neck. Its feather is pink.Leopard : It is a large wild cat. It has yellow fur with black spots on it. It is a fast runner, good swimmer, and excellent tree climber.Lion : It lives in groups. The female does most of the hunting. The male has long mane of hair on neck.Peacock : It is a beautiful bird. It has a long, beautiful train of feathers with eye spots.Boa constrictor : It is a large snake. It swallow the prey whole head first. Its jaw can open very wide. 위의 내용을 아이들이 다 이해하냐구요? 아니죠..대충 white bear... long nose....big mouth...spots..등의 힌트로 짐작을 하죠.. 이렇게 배치를 다 하고 난후엔 zookeeper에 대한 설명도 해야죠. Can you see the man over here? He is carrying buckets on both hands.Who do you think he is? That's right. He is a zookeeper.He feeds the animals and takes care of them. 그리곤 'Do you know the muffin man' 이라는 노래에 맞추어 zookeeper 노래를 부릅니다. Do you know the zookeeper, zookeeper, zookeeper?Do you know the zookeeper who lives in our zoo?Yes, I know the zookeeper, zookeeper, zookeeper.Yes, I know the zookeeper who lives in our zoo. 동물들을 잘 돌보기 위해 zookeeper에겐 어떠한 물건들이 필요한지도 알아 보았어요.그림은 키즈클럽에서 직업별로 필요한 물건들(수갑, 발레슈즈, 마이크, 삽,국자등)을 소개해둔 곳에서 구했어요. 처음부터 물건들을 다 보여주면 재미가 없으니까 부직포판을 반으로 접어 하나씩 등장시키는게 좋겠죠. What does a zookeeper need ? Does he need handcuffs / a mike / ballet shoes / a ladle / a shovel / a bucket full of fish ?He needs a shovel to muck out.He needs a bucket full of fish to feed the animal. 육식동물, 초식동물을 구별하려고 zookeeper에게 먹이를 주어 보았더니 좀 어렵더군요. 좀 애매한 부분도 있고 해서..polar bear 같은 경우를 예로 들면 주로 물개를 잡아 먹는 육식으로 알고 있는데 동물원에선 여름에 과일이 들어 있는 얼음을 넣어주어서 먹이더군요.. 스토리텔링을 할때는 테이프 뒷부분에 동물들의 소리만을 따로 모아둔 부분을 틀어서 소리를 들려 주면서 동물원에 있는 동물들을 움직여 주면서 진행을 했어요. 애들이랑 같이 동물소리를 따라 해봤는데 쉽진 않더군요.. 지점토로 polar bear 만드는 activity는 답글로 달아서 올려 놓을게요. 그림자료도 함께..낮에 이글을 다 해서 올렸는데 용량 초과로 지워지는 바람에 1시간 반의 작업이 날아가 버렸답니다많이들 활용해 보시길 바래요...
