Let's make a paper ladybug. We need a construction paper, some crayon, a glue stick, some cellophane paper and so on.

Coloring the spots.

Ladybug has 7 black spots. Let's draw black spots.
검은색으로 칠하라고 했더니 자기는 여러가지 색깔로 칠하겠노라고 해서 그러라고 했더니 더 이쁜 무당벌레가 되었네요..
얼굴은 하나는 grouchy, 하나는 friendly 하게 그려줬어요.
어려운 부사를 쉽게 잘 이해하게 됐어요.

Let's be the ladybug. I will put your paper ladybug on your back.

The ladybug is flying! Flap your wings.
등에 붙여줬더니 신나게 온 집안을 뛰어다닙니다.

무당벌레 만들어서 달고 날아다니기 했어요.
아이들이 날아다닌다고 돌아다니는 모습이 너무너무 귀여웠어요..

이 책을 읽고 무당벌레에 대한 과학적 접근을 했습니다.

Look at the ladybug.
Let's count the legs.
1,2,3,4,5,6 like all insects, it has six legs.
And it has seven spots.
The ladybug has two hard, stiff, red wings.
It has two other very thin wings to fly with.( 셀로판지로 표현했어요..)
Look at the sharp little claws on its feet.
And ladybug has two pincers next to its mouth.
The ladybug like to eat greenfly.
And look at the ladybug's face. It has two antennaes.
When the ladybug attacked, the ladybird lies on its back and squirts a horrible, smelly liquid from its legs.

다리가 6개 인 점

등에 7개의 점이 있는 것..

딱딱한 날개와 그 밑에 얇은 날개가 있다는 것..

날카로운 발톱과 침이 있는 것

진딧물을 좋아하고.

얼굴에 더듬이가 있다.

누군가 공격해오면 냄새가 독한 즙을 뿜는다것..

만들기 작업을 함께 한 후, 무당벌레가 되어 여기저기 온 집안을 날아다녔습니다.

이 책은 시계 읽는 법, 각종 곤충들에 대한 공부, 고래에 대해서 등등 아직도 더 접해줘야할 주제가 많이 남았네요...

ladybug을 버리지 말고 나뒀다가 역할극까지 도전해야할것 같습니다..

숙제가 많은 책이예요.....
