(Mommy) It's almost 10. 10시 다됐어 (Son) Can't I just stay up a half-hour longer? 반 시간만 더 있다가 자면 안돼요? (Mommy) Well, okay 그래 좋아. Stay up for half an hour. 반시간만 더 있어라. That'll be enough time to clean up this mess. 그 시간이면 어질러 놓은 것을 깨끗이 치우는데 충분한 시간이야. (Son) Don't worry, mommy. 엄마, 걱정 마세요 (Mommy) Are you finished? 다 끝냈니? Get ready for bed, now. 이제 잘 준비해라. You should go to bed, now. 이제 잠자리에 들어야지. (Son) Okay. 알았어요. Read me a story, mommy. 책 읽어주세요. (Mommy) Okay, I will. 책 읽어줄게. Put the blanket over you. 이불 잘 덮고. So, where is the storybook? 그런데, 동화책이 어디 있더라? I found it. 찾았다. Listen. 들어봐 . Once upon a time, there were three bears; a father bear, a mother bear, and a baby bear. They lived in the woods. 옛날 옛날에 세 마리의 곰이 살고 있었어. 아빠 곰, 엄마 곰, 그리고 아기 곰이 있었어. 그들은 숲속에서 살았어. (Son) In the woods? 숲 속 이라구요? (Mommy) Um-hm. 으흠. Well, one day, the three bears decided to go for a walk. And while they were gone, Goldilocks wandered into their house. 그러던 어느날 , 세 마리의 곰은 산책하기로 했어. 그리고 그들이 밖으로 나간 사이에 , 금발의 아가씨가 길을 잃고 세 마리의 곰들의 집으로 들어갔어. In the house, she saw three bowls on the table. She tasted the father bear's and said, "This is too hot." 집 안에서 아가씨는 식탁 위에 밥 그릇 세 개가 있는 것을 보았어. 그리고 아빠 곰 밥을 맛 본 다음 "이건 너무 뜨거운데"라고 말했어. She tasted the mother bear's and said, " This is too cold." She tasted the baby bear's and said, "This is just right." And she ate it all up. 엄마 곰의 밥을 먹어보고는 "이건 너무 차가운데"라고 말했어. 그리고는 아기 곰의 밥을 맛보고는 "이게 딱 좋은데"라고 말하고는 모두 먹어버렸어. Well, she walked into the living room and saw three chairs. She sat on the father's chair and said, "This is too hard." She sat on the mother's chair and said, "This is too soft." She sat on the baby's chair and said, "This is just right" But she sat down with such a thud that she broke it into a zillion pieces. 그리고는 거실로 들어가서 세 개의 의자를 봤어. 그리고 아빠의 의자에 앉아서 하는 말이 "이건 너무 딱딱한데"라고 말했어. 그녀는 엄마 의자에 앉아서 "이건 너무 부드러운데"라고 말했어. 그리고는 아기 의자에 앉아서 "이건 딱 좋은데"라고 말했어. 그러나 너무 털썩 주저 앉았기 때문에 의자가 산산 조각이 나버리고 말았어. (Kids) I'm sleepy. 졸려요. (Mommy) Good night. 잘 자거라. Sweet dreams. 좋은 꿈꾸고. I am turning off the light. 불 끈다.
