아이들이 이 노래를 너무 좋아해서 항상 휴대할 수 있도록 미니 북을 만들어 봤어요. 만들때는 힘들더니 보람이 느껴집니다. 각각의 색깔 색지로 크레용 모양을 만들었어요. 그 위에 출력한 그림과 문자를 오려 붙였어요. 그 뒷면에는 색깔을 큼지막한 문자로 붙였어요. 펀치로 구멍 뚫어 링으로 엮어 한권의 그림책이 탄생되었네요. 우리 아들녀석도 책이 맘에 드는지 연신 가지고 다니며 노래를 흥얼거려요. Look at the cover.(책장을 봅시다.) Yellow crayon is drawing the sun.(노랑 크레용이 해를 그리고 있네요.) There is a girl who is holding something.(뭔가를 들고 있는 여자아이가 있네요.) What is that?(뭐죠?) Umbrella with a brown stick.(갈색 막대기가 있는 갈색 우산이네요.) [REFRAIN-반복구] There is some crayons.(크레용 몇 개가 있네요.) How many?(몇 개죠?) [PURPLE CRAYON] Look at her. ( 아이를 보세요.) What color is the crayon?(무슨 색 크레용인가요?) Purple.(보라색요.) Right! She has a purple crayon.(맞아요. 보라색 크레용을 가지고 있네요.) Wow. She is blowing a bubble gum.(풍선 껌을 불고 있네요.) Can you blow a bubble gum like her?(이 아이처럼 풍선껌 불 수 있어요?) You can’t?(못해요?) But you can do it if you keep practicing.(하지만 계속 연습하면 여러분도 할 수 있을 거예요.) [BROWN CRAYON] Now what color crayon does she have and what is she doing?(이제 이 아이는 무슨 색 크레용을 가지고 있고, 무얼하고 있나요?) She has a brown one.(갈색 크레용을 가지고 있네요.) And she is making a mud-pie.(그리고 진흙 파이를 만들고 있네요.) Which animals can you see?(어떤 동물이 보이나요?) A cow and a pig?(소랑 돼지요?) (돼지를 가리키며) What are they doing with a mud-pie?(진흙 파이로 무얼하는 거죠?) Look at this pig.(이 돼지 좀 보세요.) Maybe it is stamping a mud-pie on its body.(몸에 진흙 파이를 찍고 있나봐요.) The pig is all muddy.(돼지가 진흙 투성이네요.) The pig wants to be a cow.(돼지는 소가 되고 싶었나봐요.) What a funny pig!(정말 우스운 돼지네요.) [BLUE CRAYON] Look at this blue crayon.(파란 크레용을 보세요.) Wow. It became a rocket.(로켓이 되었네요.) And the cow and the pig in the puddle of mud are looking above the sky.(진흙 구덩이에서 돼지랑 소가 하늘을 보고 있네요.) Look at the girl(여자 아이 좀 보세요.) She is swinging so high.(높이 높이 그네를 타고 있어요.) She seems to be very, very, very exciting.(너무너무 신나나 봐요.) [YELLOW CRAYON] It’s tea-time.(차 마시는 시간이네요.) Baby chicks! Come quickly.(아기 병아리들아! 빨리 와) The weather is so good to have a tea.(차 마시기에 너무 좋은 날씨다.) I think the tea is not enough for all chicks.(병아리 모두가 마시기에는 차가 모라자는 것 같네요.) Purple for bubble gum(풍선껌의 보라색) Brown for mud-pie(진흙 파이의 갈색) Blue for sky(하늘의 파랑색) Yellow for chicks.(병아리들의 노랑색) [GOLD CRAYON] How splendid she is!(너무나 멋지네요.) Let’s check her ornaments.(그녀의 장신구들을 살펴봅시다.) She is wearing seven bracelets, a pair of ear-ring, three necklace and flower hat.(반지 일곱 개, 귀걸이 한쌍, 목걸이 세개, 꽃모자를 쓰고 있네요.) Oh, I can’t open my eyes because of her dazzling beauty.(눈이 부시게 아름다워서 눈을 뜰수 없네요.) [SILVER CRAYON] (the finger band can play the flute, play the flute, play the flute…..) [GREEN CRAYON] Lots of flowers, and a butterfly, a rabbit and a girl(꽃이랑, 나비, 토끼 그리고 소녀…) The girl and the rabbit are running in the green, green lawn(소녀랑 토끼가 푸른 푸른 잔디밭에서 뛰어다니네요.) They are having a great time.(아주 즐거운 시간을 보내고 있군요.) What a beautiful and peaceful scene!(너무나 아름답고 평화로운 모습이네요. [REFRAIN-반복구] What color crayons did you see?(무슨 색깔 크레용을 보았나요?) Can you remember?(기억 나요?)
