We also studied two words with V at the beginning.(또 V로 시작하는 단어 2개를 배워 봤죠.) What were they?(뭐였죠?) Volcano & Violin Today’s letter is C(오늘 배울 글자는 C입니다.) The letter C has two different sounds-soft sound and hard sound.(글자 C는 서로 다른 두 소리-부드러운 c소리와 거친 c소리-가 나요.) I have delicious things for you.(여러분 주려고 맛있는 걸 가지고 왔어요.) Can you guess what it is?(뭔지 맞춰 보세요.) Ice cream! I’m sorry.(미안해요.) They’re not a real ice cream(진짜 아이스크림은 아니네요.) One is soft and the other is hard.(하나는 부드러운 것이고 또 다른 하나는 딱딱한 거네요.) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 이때 부가 설명했습니다. “우리가 흔히 하드라고 하는데, 진짜 영어 이름은 하드가 아니라 아이스 바입니다. 그런데 얼어서 딱딱하기 때문에 하드라고 부르죠. 그러니까 우리도 하드에는 hard C 소리가 나는 단어들을 붙여 보도록 합시다. 또 우리가 먹는 아이스크림은 패스트 푸드 점에서 흔히 소프트 콘이라고도 하죠. 부드럽고 살살 녹는 아이스크림. 자, 그럼 아이스크림에는 soft C 소리가 나는 단어들을 붙여 봅시다. “하고 설명하니 아이들이 쉽게 받아 들이더라구요. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here you are(자, 받으세요) Keep them on your laps for a while.(이것들은 잠깐 무릎 위에 놓으세요) Sometimes C has hard sound-크(가끔 C는 거친 소리를 내죠.-크) In this case, C sounds like “cat”(이 경우, C는 “cat”와 같은 소리를 내요.) Then stick this picture on your “hard” board.(그럼 이 그림을 [hard board]에 붙여 보세요.) Sometimes C has soft sound- 쓰(가끔 C는 부드러운 소리를 내죠-쓰) In this case, C sounds like “circle”. (이런 경우, C는 “circle” 과 같은 소리를 내죠.) Then, stick this picture on your “soft” board. ( 자, 그럼 이 그림을 [soft board]에 붙여 보세요.) What is it?(이건 뭐죠?) Can. Then does “Can” have soft sound or hard sound?(그럼 “Can”은 부드러운 소리가 나나요, 거친 소리가 나나요?) Good. Stick on your hard board. 나머지 단어도 이런 방법으로 공부해 보세요. Circle City Cane. Let’s sing a song.
