Kevin, what is the shape of this button?
It's a circle.
Right. Look at this drawing.
Here are circle, triangle, rectangle, diamond, square, pentagon, hexagon, and heart.
How about making a mini shape book?
That'll be fun.
O.k. Cut this paper following the shape.
You can gather them by the same shape.
.......
I did it.
Good.
And now, I'll give you a question.
What is this?
It's a square.
How many sides in the square?
4.
Yes, a square has four sides. They are equal.
What are things made of square?
A mirror.
Very good.
What is this?
It's a circle. A circle is round.
Right. What are things made of circle?
Wheels on the bus, a clock, windows of an airplane...
Excellent!
Next. What is this?
But I don't know a word in English.
Oh! You can say it as pentagon.
How many sides in the pentagon?
Let's count them.
1,2,3,4,5. They are five.
Then, where do you see the pentagon?
I see pentagons in the football.
Yeah! Very good! You make me happy.
Why don't you draw something with these shapes?
