**********Before Reading************ 1. 농장과 관련된 책들을 미리탐색해 보기.. farm의 이모저모를 그림으로 확인할수있는 page를 집중적으로 찾아봅니다. ①Farmer duck(by Helen Oxenbury) 그 안의 barn과fence가 함께 보여지는 그림들을 이용해 농장의 광경을 보여줬구요..동물들이 같이 헛간안에서 회의 하는 장면도 함께 보여줬습니다. 
②Over in the Meadow중 four에 해당하는 장면 big barn door가 나옵니다.그리고 헛간안에 가득한 hay가 보이는데요,, 그안에 베어놓은 crop(곡식)들이 많이 쌓여 있을거라는 이야기도 함께요.. 
2.About the cover 
What do you see in the cover of this book? 커버에서 뭐가 보이니? There is a man who holds up some hay with his rake. 갈퀴로 건초를 짚어올리는 아저씨가 있네.. I think he is a farmer. 내생각엔 농부아저씨 같아. I see many farm animals,too. 농장의 동물들도 보이네.. Here are two hens and three chick.. 여기 암탉 두마리와 병아리 세마리가 보인다. Do you know what it is? 이건 뭔지 아니? This is a duck and her baby that is called duckling. 여기 오리도 있고 duckling이라고 불리우는 아기오리도 있네. They all live in the farm. 얘들은 모두 농장에 살아.. They are all family. 모두 한가족이지. They all look so happy. 모두 행복해보인다.. *********While Reading************* 너무 잘 알려진 전래 동요를 책으로 만든 터라 노래를 불러가며 story에 접근합니다. 따라 부르기 좋게 책의 내용을 큼직하게 출력하여 각 장에 붙여 노래불렀어요. 
<본문활용>-윗장 There are many women in the yard. 마당에 아주머니들이 많이 있네.. How many women are in the yard? 아주머니 몇명이 있니? Do you guess who is the farmer's wife? 누가 농부의 아내인줄 알겠어? She is wearing a striped dress.her hair is yellow. 그녀는 줄무늬 원피스를 입고있네..머리는 노란색이구. I see a barn , and some farm animals over there. 저쪽에 헛간도 보이고 동물들도 좀 보인다. What kind of animals do you see? 어떤 동물들이 보이니? <본문활용>--아랫장 How dose the weather look like? 날씨가 어때보이니? What are these? 이것들이 뭐니? How many dogs are there? 개가 몇마리 있니? What dose the dog make sound? 개는 어떤 소릴내지? Which dog do you like best? 어떤개가 가장 맘에 들어? Who is this woman who is holding her purse? 이 지갑을 들고있는 아주머니는 누구니? 노래가 끝나면 미리 준비한 휴지심을 이용한 등장인물들을 이용하여 다시 story를 전개해봅니다 
<놀이활용문> What are these? 이게 뭘까? Here is the farmer who we saw in the book, right? 우리가 책에서 본 농부아저씨다 그치? The farmer took his wife. where is his wife? 농부는 그의 아내를 데리고 왔어.아내는 어딧지? And the wife took a child. Where is her child? 그리고 아내는 아이를 데리고 왔어.그 아이는 어딧지? Can you line up these characters in order? 이것들을 순서대로 줄 세울 수 있겠어? The farmer is the first. 농부가 첫번째이고. The wife is the second. 아내가 두번째, The child is the third. 아이가 세번째. The nurse is the fourth....... 보모가 네번째. Which one is the fifth? 누가 다섯번째지? **등장인물들 별첨합니다** 이렇듯 이야기의 전개를 인형들로 다시 알아보고,,노래를 다시 불러봅니다.. 각각 해당되는 인형을 들어가면서 재밌게 참여하네요..^^ ********After Reading************** 1.Let's make a web about a farm. 'What can we see in the farm?'이라는 주제로 web만들기 ①전지에 farm에 관련한 소주제에 따라 우선 각 area를 그려놓는다 (소주제 :Tool,,Plants,,baby animals,,adult animals,,crops,,hay,,마지막으로 Building..) ②미리 각 부분에 붙일것들을 준비해서 접시에 담아두고요.. **각 소주제 그림 별첨합니다**-->'teacher+'에서 모은 자료들입니다 http://www.dltk-kids.com/animals/farm.html <----farm관련 출력하기 http://www.dltk-teach.com/rhymes/farmer/mfarmer.htm <---farmer craft 출력하기 ③아이들과 함께 이야기 하며 붙여갑니다.. 
<활용문> What tools can we see in the farm? 농장에는 무슨 연장이 있니? What animals can we see in the farm? 농장에서는 무슨 동물들을 볼수있니? Can you find a dog's baby in these babies? 이 아기들중 강아지를 찾을수있니? Do you know what a dog's baby is called in english? 영어로 강아지가 뭔지 아니? There is hay in the farm here and there. 농장엔 여기저기 건초들이 있단다. Hay is grass which has been cut and dried. 건초는 풀을 잘라서 말린거야. (여기서 제가 놀이터에서 주워 모아온 건초를 보여줬답니다^^) Crops are plants for food such as wheat, potatos, corns. 농작물은 밀,감자,옥수수 같은 식용 식물들이야 They are grown in large quantities for food. 농작물은 식용으로 아주 많이 기른단다 <완성된 web입니다> 
2. Activity...Barn 만들기.. Farm에서 가장 중요한 Barn 은 직접 만들어보기로 했습니다.. 미리 모양을 출력해 두꺼운 종이로 붙여놓구요.. http://www.dltk-teach.com/t.asp?b=m&t=http://www.dltk-teach.com/books/farm/bbarn.gif <---barn 출력 바로가기 신문지를 이용해 꾸며보기로 했어요.. <활용문> we are going to make farmer's barn.. 우린 농부의 헛간을 만들어볼꺼야. (barn의 모양을 보여주며),It's a kind of house in the farm.. 이건 농장에 있는 집과 같은거야. The barn is for farm animals and lots of crops. 헛간은 동물들과 농작물들을 위한것이지.. Look!!!What are these(신문지를 들고)? 봐!!이것들이 뭐니? yes…We are going to use these newspapers… 그래,,우린 신문지를 이용할꺼야.. Tear them and stick on your barn. 찢어서 네 헛간에 붙여봐. Don't use scissors,,just tear it. 가위는 사용하지마..찢는걸로만 하자. Decorate it all your own way. 니 맘대로 꾸며봐.. 
신문지로 완성한 울아이들의 barn입니다^^  
그리고 더불어 헛간과 등장인물들을 함께 이용해 멋진 농장도 만들었답니다.. 어떤가요..?
