스토리텔링: caterpillar's wish > 콘텐츠 공모전

간단한 스토리를 가진 책 caterpillar's wish 를 가지고 스토리텔링 시간을 가졌답니다. 배경판으로 꽃밭을 그리고 모루와 손장갑의 손가락 마디 부분을 잘라 벌과 무당벌레와 애벌레를 만들어 손가락에 끼워서 진행을 했는데 무척 반응이 좋았답니다. 이 책을 이용해서 알에서 태어나는 것, 어미와 새끼가 전혀 다르게 생길 수도 있다는 것 등을 얘기해 주고 싶었는데 영작이 잘 안되서 설명이 잘 전달됐다는 자신이 없네요. 다시 한번 공부의 필요성을 절실히 느꼈답니다. 곤충들만 확대한 사진입니다. cocoon은 부직포로 타원형을 만든 후 한면에 가위로 잘라 바느질 했다가 나비가 나올 때 뜯어서 사용했어요. 같이 모임하는 엄마가 어미와 새끼 동물 맞추기 게임놀이가 있어서 아이들과 함께 노는 모습이에요. It’s time for storytelling. Title is Caterpillar’s wish. What is caterpillar? (Could you tell me about the caterpillar?) Caterpillar is baby. Whose baby? Caterpillar is butterfly’s baby or moth’s baby. What will be the caterpillar grown up? Butterfly or moth. Caterpillar and butterfly look different. Butterfly has wings but caterpillar no wings. Butterfly can fly but caterpillar can only creeping. But caterpillar turns to butterfly because of caterpillar is butterfly’s baby. Today we talk about the caterpillar. Caterpillar and Bee and Ladybird live in a lovely garden. They are friends. When Bee and Ladybird fly away, caterpillar stays behind. Because of caterpillar can’t fly. “I wish I could fly too,” she says. But Bee and Ladybird always come back. One day, when Bee and Ladybird come home, caterpillar is gone. Where is caterpillar? “Do you know where she is, snail?” asks Bee. “Caterpillar is in this cocoon,” says snail. “She is sleeping and dreaming.” Bee and Ladybird visit the cocoon everyday. Until… Crack! goes the cocoon. Who is that peeing out? “It is me at last,” says caterpillar. “But now my name is butterfly and I can fly!” Caterpillar became a butterfly just like her mother. Just like a caterpillar a polliwog don’t take after his mommy, frog. For the first time polliwog is an egg. An egg became a polliwog and a polliwog became a frog. It’s very strange thing but it’s true. polliwag turns to frog because of polliwog is frog's baby.
