Pat Hutchins 의 작품인 THE WIND BLEW. 바람부는 날 일어날 수 있는 일들을 재밌는 표정과 계속 바뀌는 마을 풍경으로 멋지게 표현하고 있는 동화책이랍니다. 어떻게 놀아줄까 하다가 부족한 솜씨로 그림을 그리고 아이들에게 바람이 되어 물건들을 날리라고 했더니 신나게 입김도 불고 부채도 날리면서 바람흉내를 내내요. 바람이 불기 전의 모습이구요 바람에 날린 후의 모습이랍니다. 배경은 택배상자를 이용해 그렸는데 그리다 보니 잘 못 그려서 사람들 순서가 헝클어졌어요. 오른쪽 왼쪽의 그림들이 서로 자리를 바꾸면 더 좋을 것 같아요. 뭐 순서가 중요한 건 아니지 하면서 전 그냥 이용했어요. 다시 그리려고 생각하니 넘 아찔 했거든요. 아직 아이들이 어려 내용을 줄이고 주로 동사에 맞춰서 활용해 주었습니다. Today is very strong windy day. You are the wind. You can blow the wind as strong as can be. 솔민 wind, 원우 wind, 소희 wind! Are you ready? Ok. Let’s blow the wind. The wind blew. The wind took the umbrella from mr. White. (oh, my umbrella) => 큰 목소리로 과장되게, 단어를 익히는 의미도 있습니다. The wind snatched the balloon from little girl. (oh, my balloon) The wind took hat from a bridegroom. (oh, my hat) The wind whipped a kite from little boy, (oh, my kite) The wind grabbed a shirt left out to dry. (oh, my shirt) The wind plucked a hanky from a nose. (oh, my hanky) The wind lifted the wig from the judge’s head. (oh, my wig) The wind whirled the postman’s letters up. (oh, my letters) The wind stole a flag. (oh, my flag) The wind pulled the scarves from the twins. (oh, my scarf) The wind sent the newspapers fluttering round. (oh, my newspapers) Then, the wind mix them up (엄마들이 다 같이 뒤섞으면서) And threw them down.(아이들을 향해 던진다.) 사람들 그림은 풍경판에서는 잘 안보여서 따로 찍어 보았어요. 저희 신랑 솜씨랍니다.
