Hello Everyone!!!

It is already April. I only have two months of junior year left. But as the end of this academic year is approaching, I become more tired and uneasy. Don't worry, though. I will be stable enough to lead this book club.

I have one thing to tell you. When I check you assignment, what do you think I first see? Grammar? Correctness?

The first thing, the most important thing I see is if it answers the question specifically. Even when answering for the reading comprehension questions, you should try to write as specific as you can. You should imagine that I am a person who had never read that book. Then, I see the length. But usually, if you be specific, your answer will automatically be long. Then I look at the grammar, and the last thing I care is the correctness. The reason of this checking system is that I think book club as a thing that makes you think and write more than a thing that just makes you read. ALSO, I THINK  EVERYONE IN THIS BOOK CLUB KNOWS HOW TO READ AND READ WELL. ALMOST 0% OF THIS BOOK CLUB GETS WRONG IN THEIR ANSWER IN TERMS OF THE CORRECTNESS.

So, to improve your english, in my opinion, you should spend more time on thinking and writing, rather than only focusing on reading. Still, this does not mean that you do not have to read. I am saying that the reading is a basic thing that you have to do to remain in this book club.

Many people become specific on one or two parts of their assignment. I appreciate their effort. However, not many people do that on their entire assignment.

To be honest, I can read one SSC book in three minutes. However, I spend at least an hour for making questions and commenting on your works. For me at Sunday night, when I have an essay due Monday morning, one hour is actually not little. When you become lazy about writing more than you think it is enough, think about me, and I hope you can get motivated.

I am not blaming you guys for not being industrious. As I said earlier, I know everyone reads the book and do the assignment. What I want to say is that your work would be much better and your English would be much better if you care a little bit more about thinking and writing.

So, may I expect some wonderful works next week?

I know you will do really well and impress me. Let's do this!!!
