간단한 과학놀이(29) 젖지 않는 종이 > 콘텐츠 공모전

눈에 보이지 않는 공기의 존재를 알려주기 위한 실험입니다. 준비물: 물기 없는 투명한 컵 .크고 투명한 용기(사람의 손이 들어갈 만큼 적당히 큰 것),부드러운 종이 실험과정 1. 용기에⅔정도 물을 채운다. 2. 마른 종이를 구겨서 유리나 플라스틱 컵의 바닥에 압착시켜 넣는다. 3. 컵을 거꾸로 뒤집어서(구겨진 종이가 빠지지 않도록 한다)물에 완전히 가라앉힌다. 그리고 가능한 한 수직으로 세운다. 4. 컵을 물에서 들어올려 컵에 묻은 물을 떨어뜨린다.(흔들지 말 것) 5. 물기 없는 손으로 컵에서 종이를 꺼내고, 학생들에게 종이가 젖었는지 젖지않았는지를 확인하도록 한다. 수아,현웅, If I put this cup with paper in it into this bowl of water. I know that it is hard to believe because you can't see the air, or feel it either, But air is all around you. Of course, cups are full of it. Just before you saw it. The air inside a cup protect the paper dry. 이때 제 아들이 실수로 컵을 기울이는 바람에 물이 안으로 들어가고 말았습니다.. 그래서 이렇게 말해주었죠.. oh .it is wet. Do you know why? if you tip the glass a little bit. you can make the water go in.ccan you see this bubble? A bubble of air goes out and up. When the air goes out, Water goes in.because there is empty space in the glass. 원리: 공기는 공간을 차지한다. 컵은 공기로 가득 차 있기 때문에 컵이 어떻게 세워져 있든지 상관이 없다. 그리고 컵 안의 구겨진 종이 주위에는 공기가 있다. 이것은 컵을 누르고 과정에서 물이 들어오지 않는 이유이다. 따라서 종이는 젖지 않은 상태로 있을 수 있는 것이다. 아이들이 실수로 컵을 기울여서 물이 들어가게 되면 틀렸다고 조심하라 하지 마시고 위 처럼 말씀해주세요..
