Learn to read 시리즈 중의 하나인 "What's in my Pocket?"은 'What's in my pocket?'이라는 말이 계속 반복되고 , 주머니 속에 있는 물건의 특징들이 짧게 제시되면, 그 뒷페이지에 답이 주어집니다. 이런 류의 수수께끼책들은 아이가 매우 흥미있어해요. Pocket, pocket, What's in my pocket? Something that's round. a marble. ... ... Pocket, Pocket, what's in my pocket? Something that's soft. A feather. .... 이런 식으로 여러번 물음과 답이 반복되는데, 리듬을 넣어서 읽어 주어도 좋습니다. round, square, soft, hard, fuzzy와 'What's in my pocket?' 이라는 문장도 익힐수 있어요. ***아이와 함께 책에 나오는대로 수수께끼놀이를 할수도 있답니다. -책에 나오는 물건-모두 쉽게 구할수 있어요. marble, block, feather, rock ,bear(곰인형) ,worm(수퍼에서 파는 벌레 모양의 젤리, 이름이 생각나지 않는데 '마이구미' 같은류의 젤리인데 아이가 너무 재미있어 합니다.) *위의 물건외에도 집에 있는 장난감이나 다른사물을 이용해서 놀아도 좋습니다. 그런다음 동화책을 만들어 주어도 좋습니다. 동화책을 만든다음 놀이를 해도 좋고요. *활용해 보세요* "Pocket, pocket, what's in my pocket?"
