1. Her parent's letting her go to Brighton where the military was encamped, having no information about the truth character of Mr.Wickham, and her original thoughtlessness made Lydia elope with Mr.Wickham. Having a carefree disposition, her mother's inconsiderate behaviour, and her father's neglecting herself made Lydia's character so free and careless.
2. I prefer Mary's stern conscience. Even though she most of the time reads books and does not make relationships with others, at least, having such personality, comparing with Kitty she has much lesser probabilities of making trouble.

A1. I think that Lydia the cause she behaved so naughty and made her family ashmed of theirselves in front of many people, is because of her mother, Mrs. Bennet. Mrs. Bennet and Lydia really look alike. Like don't caring to other peoples and behaves naughty, like talking loudly or playing around even they shouldn't. So I think that Lydia's behavior is because ofher mother. And I think Mr. Bennet has a problem, too. Mr. Bennet had always didn't liked Lydia, Kitty, Mary and Mrs. Bennet behavior but he never pointed it out or yelled at them about their problems. So I think that Mr. and Mrs. Bennet had influences Lydia to made her character so free and careless.

A2. Well, first of all, Mary is gentle, she likes to read rather than playing like Lydia or Kitty so I think she has a good personality. And Kitty is very cheerful lady, I think. She likes playing but sometimes, she begs too much and she is like, junior Lydia. On the other hand, Mary don't care about other people, I think. Like when there was a party and Mary, even though her voice was week, sang the song two times and made her family feel ashmaed theirselves and didn't gave the other people a chance to sing. So I think I would more perfer Kitty more than Mary.

1. Most of the influences on Lydia came from Mrs. Bennet, her mother. She must have known Lydia's gay but thoughtless personality. However, all she cared about was to get her five daughters married, and did not try to stop her youngest daughter even when she showed her affection for the officers. She was blind in the search for a nice husband due to her sudden love for Mr. Wickham. Actually, I doubt that Lydia and Mr. Wickham's love will last very long. Mr. Wickham does not have as much affection as Lydia has for him, which is shown in his original purpose of running away; that it was not for Lydia, but to relieve himself of the pressure of his debts. Additionally, Lydia is not only thoughtless, she is greedy and too ambitious. She will probably spend too much money on her own clothes and jewelry, more than they can afford, which may also contribute to the decrease of their affection for each other.

2. Mary is quiet, stern, and does not care very much for others around her. Quite the contrary, Kitty is gay, optimistic, but not sensible at all, having received a lot of influence from her sister Lydia. I believe it will be hard for men to fall in love with Mary because she is not very concerned about them as most women are. However, if she does find a good husband with luck, she will be a great housekeeper and sensible wife, always keeping their household sturdy. For Kitty, some men might want to claim her for their wife, but since she is very much like Lydia, their love may not last very long as well. Nevertheless, I am glad she has fixed some of her greedy, unsensible ways, as mentioned at the end of the book. I myself would prefer Mary, because she would be a good person to confide in. In other words, Mary would be able to be trusted with anything. Still, I think the choice would be different according to each person's preference and personality.
