First, I want to thank you all for your fine answers in the first mission. I hope you will continue to work hard and always have something to say after reading a book. Reading books don't just widen your collection of words. You can do that simply by going to an academy. No, reading books aren't just that. It shows you to tie the words together, make them flow in unison. And it also helps you to see the world. Its many falts, the little hopes and dreams that might or might not be forfilled. And in doing so, it gives its own opinion of the world.

To be answered by 1/20 after reading vol2 of pride and prejudice.

1. What do you think of Mrs. bennet's ideas? (About marriage, about her general views, and so on.)

2. What kind of person is Lady Catherine?

1. I think Mrs. Bennet is a sort of women that does not listen to her daughters' opinion a lot when it comes to marrige. She thinks the most important thing for her is her daughters' marrige. She wants her daughters to marry rich men, rather than men that her daughters love. She is also very impatient about it. She forces her daughters to think men of rich and noble family, such as Mr. Bingley, is very nice and suit them well. Mrs. Bennet was angry at Elizabeth when she refused to marry Mr. Collins.

2. Lady Catherine is to proud of herself to think that she is never wrong. I didn't like the way she spoke to Elizabeth. She was very rude, and she expects everyone to treat her like a queen, just because she has a lot of money.

1. I think that Mrs.Bennet's idea about marriage is not right. She tried to make Elizabeth get married to Mr.Collins to keep the house which the Bennets were living in even though Elizabeth did not like Mr.Collins, which shows that Mrs.Bennet did not care whether Elizabeth liked the man which I think is an inappropriate manner towards her own daughter. I think Mrs.Bennet's general views upon everything is quite absurd considering that she is a mother of five daughters. Her improper behaviour gave cause for Mr.Darcy and Miss Bingley to think the marriage between Jane and Mr.Bingley unsuitable.
2. Lady Catherine is a very authoritative person. Because of her wealth and rank she treats others as if they were her servants.

1. Mrs. Bennet thinks her purpose in life is to find five fine husbands for her daughters. Since their family isn't very wealthy, she hopes to send her daughters to a wealthy house. That's what she only thinks about. So it doesn't matter whether the five daughters like it or not, they just have to be married. When Mr. Bingley takes residence in near by, she urges her daughters to get married. Maybe ages ago, life was like that and being married was all about woman. But I think that is wrong. You should hope to be happy, not wealthy. So you should find a man of your liking. And I think Mrs. Bennet should review her ideas for a while.

2. Lady Catherine think her way is right, right, right. Because she has all the money to do the best. She thinks very highly of herself and so think her daughters are the best, too. And, maybe it's because of her pride, the people around her reacts to her thoughts, and even though Lady Catherine tries to "help out", but because of her pride, the listener becomes uncomfortable. In short, Lady Catherine think she up on high, and not exactly understanding.
