동화책활용-Seven Blind Mice(색깔, 요일, 서수) > 콘텐츠 공모전

지난번에 '요일을 가르쳐 주는 동화'로 소개한 적이 있는데, 내용 좀 더 추가 할께요. 'Seven Blind mice'를 통해서 아이에게 색깔, 요일, first에서 seventh까지의 서수를 가르칠 수 있습니다. 일곱마리의 눈 먼 생쥐가 연못에서 이상한 무언가를 찾고, 놀라서 "What is it?"이라는 물음에서 이야기는 시작됩니다. On Monday, Red Mouse went first to find out. "It's a pillor." he said. ... ... On Tuesday, green Mouse set out. He was the second to go. "It's a snake." he said. ... ... ... ... 이런식으로 월요일에서 토요일까지 눈먼 생쥐가 한마리씩가서 어느 한부분만을 만져보고 와서 Pillar, Snake, Clife, Spear, Fan, Rope 라고 말합니다. 그리고 일요일날 일곱번째 생쥐가 가서 전체를 만져보고 The something is as sturdy as a pillar, supple as a snake, wide as a cliff, sharp as a spear, breezy as a fan, stringy as a rope, but altogrther the Somgthing is... an elephant! 라고 말하죠. 제대로 알기 위해서는 '부분이 아닌 전체를 보아야 한다'는 교훈을 주는 책이예요. **책을 본 다음 1.엄마가 말해 주는 코끼리의 특징 (... as sturdy as s pillar에서 stringgy as a rope까지의 특징) 대로 그림을 그려보는 활동을 함께 해보는 것도 좋습니다. 2.주머니 안에 물건을 넣어두고 , 만져보고 알아 맞추는 비밀 주머니 놀이를 해보세요. rough, bumy, smooth. soft, hard..의 특징이 있고, 모양도 여러가지인 것으로요. **책을 보면서 아이와 대화해 보세요.** 책표지를 보면서 (여섯마리의 쥐와 꼬리그림 하나가 있어요.) "How many mice are there?" -There are seven mice. 책을 펼치면 제목이 적힌 부분에 색이 각각 다른 일곱개의 줄이 그려져 있는데 "What are the seven lines?" -They are mice's tails. "What color are they?" -They are yellow, blue, white, red, orange, green, and purple. 책 내용을 보면서 "What color mouse went first?" -Red mouse went first. "On what day did he go?" _On Monday he went. "Why did he go? -Because he went to find out what is by their pond. "Do you think it is a pillar?" "If you don't think it is a pillor, what do you think it is?" "Which one is the most wise mouse?"
