드디어 공구한 'Elmo's World'보드북 마지막 네번째 책 'Puppies!'읽어줄 시간이 되었네요. 우리 아이들이 가장 사랑하는 캐릭터 '블루'도 강아지니까 더 쉽게 접근해 활용할 수 있으리라 믿어 의심치 않습니다. What sound is it? Can you hear that sound now? (woof! woof!) You are right. Puppies. A puppy is a young dog and dogs make a sound 'woof' when they bark. 무슨 소리죠? 저소리 들려요? 맞았어요. 강아지소리네요. 강아지는 작은 개를 말하죠. 개는 짖을때 'woof'소리를 내요. Would you open the red door? What are there? Five Puppies. Say hello to puppies. "Hi!" They all looks sleey. One puppy over here already fell asleep. What else can you see? Pawprints. We can find this kind of pawprints in the 'Blues's clues' (books and videos),too. 빨간 문을 열어봐요. 뭐가 있어요? 다섯마리 강아지군요. 안녕하고 인사해봐요. 강아지들이 모두 졸리운가봐요. 여기 한마린 (엄마가 손가락으로 짚어주세요)벌써 잠들었네요. 또 뭐가 보여요? 발자국. 블루의 수수께끼에서도 봤던 거죠. There is a question mark. If you are doubtful or uncertain about something you can just draw a question mark like this. How do puppies have food and water? People use a spoon and a fork to eat. But puppies need no spoon and fork. And you don't have to water them with watering can. Puppy isn't a plant. Look! A puppy is lapping up the bowl. 이건 물음표란다. 잘 모르겠는게 있으면 이렇게 물음표를 그리면 돼. 강아지는 어떻게 음식이나 물을 먹을까? 사람들은 스푼과 포크를 사용해 먹지. 강아지에겐 스푼이나 포크는 필요없어. 물뿌리개로 물을 줄 필요도 없지. 강아지가 식물이 아니쟎아. 자 봐. 그릇을 핥아먹고 있네. Elmo is making a video with a blue camcorder? Do you wonder what picture Elmo is recording? Let's see. Elmo wants to walk a puppy. But a puppy runs so fast that Elmo can's catch up with her. 엘모가 파란색 캠코더로 비디오를 찍고 있어요. 뭘 찍는지 궁금하니? 자,보자. 엘모는 강아지를 산책시키고 싶어요. 근데 강아지가 너무 빨리달려서 엘모가 쫓아갈 수가 없네요. This poodle has a pink bow on curly hair and a sparkling necklace. Do you know how Elmo's puppy act when she feels happy? 푸들이 분홍색 리본을 하고 반짝이는 목걸이를 하고 있네요. 엘모 강아지는 기분이 좋을때 어떤 행동을 하는지 알아요?(대답은 책 내용 그대로를 읽어주는게 가장 좋겠네요. 겁이 나거나 화가날때 으릉렁거린다는 표현도요.)
