대통령 선거하는 날에는 (좀 늦게 올렸죠? 그래도 한 번 해 보세요. 아이가 4에서 5세 정도 되면 하실 수 있을 거예요. 이 글은 유진(김해의)이를 위해 썼는데 읽기가 가능하니까 길가다 벽보를 보고 묻더라구요. 그래서 유진맘이 영어로도 하고 싶다고 해서 작문을 해 봤습니다. 저희 애는 아직 유진이보다 어리고 글도 조금 밖에 모르거든요. ) 선거하는 날 : Presidential election day I'm your mommy, You'll be your daddy. (역할극을 해 보는 겁니다) Dad. Let's go for a vote. (* 참고로 미국 선거는 간선젭니다. 우리나라는 직선제. Am. Presidential Primary 예비선거 (국민 직접) Electoral vote 선거인단 선거 여기서는 우리나라에서 하는 선거를 알려 주는 걸로 하겠습니다) Mom. Wait. I can't decide (my mind) yet whom I support. D. Oh, sorry. We have to vote a candidate who will be a good leader for our country. M. Yes. I think so. but I don't know whom. D. Just, take a look, these candidates. No. 1 노무현, No. 2 이회창 No. 3 권영길...... You can choose one of them, most progressive and most honest. M. Most progressive? D. Yes, I like progressive. M. But who will really work for people.(people은 국민) D. I don't know. Ac.> Do you want to be a president? M. What do you want to be? Kid. I want to be a president! M. Wow, great. I'm a first supporter. I will vote at you when you grown- up. Just Imagine. Reporter. Here is the White House. Now, The president-elect is coming up! (shake your hand to everybody, smile, and greet) (Name! Name! Name! 크게 소리치세요, go를 넣어도 됩니다) President-elect. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. (당선자) Reporter . Can you be a good leader? (좋은 지도자) P.-E. (줄였음) Yes. I can do everything for you. Of the people, by the people, for the people, (순서가 맞 는 지 모르겠네요. 옛날에 배워서...-=-) the president of the U.S.A. Lincoln said.
