My first truck board book & tape 많은 종류의 트럭을 익힘으로써 새로운 단어도 배울 수 있고, 또한 자동차를 좋아하는 아이라면 끝까지 눈을 떼지 못할 거예요. 특히 끝부분에 있는 나와 있는 세가지 게임은 아이에게 또다른 재미를 가져다 줄 거예요. 또 챈트 형식으로 되어 있는 테이프를 들으면서 아이와 발음을 따라해 보면 더욱 좋겠지요. Wow, look at this cover. 와 이 표지좀 봐. There are trucks on it. 트럭이 있다. There are all sorts of different trucks in the world, and they do many important jobs. 세상에는 많은 종류의 다른 트럭들이 있고, 중요한 일을 하지. You like trucks, don't you? 너 트럭 좋아하지? Let's quickly open the book and read it. 빨리 책을 펴고 읽어보자. Busy Truck There are some trucks that are busy working. 바쁘게 일하는 몇개의 트럭들이 있구나. Do you know when these trucks are used? 이 트럭들이 어떨때 쓰이는건지 알고 있니? Shall we see one by one? 우리 하나하나 살펴볼까? Snow plough We can see this snow plough on a snowy day. 우리는 눈오는날 이 제설기를 볼수 있단다. It clears away snow from the highways or railroad tracks.고속도로나 철길에 쌓인 눈을 치우지. Road sweeper Road sweepers suck up any dirt and litter on the roads like a giant vacuum cleaner. 거리 청소차는 큰 진공청소기처럼 도로에 있는 먼지나 쓰레기를 빨아들이지. It makes the road clean. 도로를 깨끗이 해준단다. Cement mixer truck Have you ever seen this truck? 이 트럭을 본 적 있니? Yes, we've seen it many times at the building site. 맞아, 우리는 공사 현장에서 많이 보았어. This truck mixes cement by rolling its container, then pours it out to make sidewalks, floors, and the foundations of buildings. 이 트럭은 용기를 돌리면서 시멘트를 섞는단다 그리고는 인도나 바닥, 그리고 빌딩의 기초를 만들기 위해 시멘트를 붓는단다. Rubbish collection truck We can often see this garbage truck in the city. 우리는 종종 도시에서 이 쓰레기 수거차를 볼 수 있단다. It's a truck that collects rubbish or waste. 이것은 쓰레기를 수거해 하는 트럭이란다. Transporter A transporter is a long vehicle carrying something from one place to another. 운반기기는 어떤것을 한곳에서 다른 곳으로 운반하는 긴 차를 말하는거야. Let's see what kinds of things are in a transporter. 운반기기에 어떤 것들이 있나 보자. Tanker A tanker carries large quantities of liquid or gas. 탱커는 많은 양의 액체나 가스를 운반한단다. Car transporter This vehicle is a kind of truck made just to carry other cars. 이것은 다른 차들을 운반하기 위해서 만들어진 트럭이야. How many cars are loaded? 몇대의 차들이 실려 있니? Five. Transport truck This is a very large truck that carries large or heavy loads. 이것은 크고 무거운 짐들을 싣기 위한 큰 트럭이야. Giant transporters Here are two giant transporters. 여기 두개의 커다란 운반기기가 있구나. Road train Wow, it's very big like a train. 와 기차처럼 정말 크다. Logging truck This logging truck carries logs to a lumber mill, where they will be cut into boards. 이 벌목 반출 트럭은 통나무들을 제재소, 즉 통나무들을 판자로 자르는 곳으로 운반한다. Fire Engine Weee-ah! Weee-ah! 왜앵앵앵.... What's that sound? It's the sound of sirens from a fire engine. 무슨 소리지? 소방차 사이렌 소리야. There must be a fire somewhere. 어딘가에 불이 났나봐. Let's go put out the fire. 불끄러 가자. Engine with turntable ladder It carries a turntable-like huge ladder on a platform. The platform can swivel the ladder into the right position. 이 소방차는 단상위에 회전테이블식의 큰 사다리를 운반한다. 이 단상은 사다리를 알맞은 위치로 회전시킨다. Engine with straight ladder It carries a straight ladder to put out fires and to rescue people on high floors of a building. 이 소방차는 높은 빌딩의 불을 끄고 사람들을 구출하기 위해 곧은 사다리를 가지고 다닌단다. Engines with skylifts It has a long arm with a built-in hose that can reach high and awkward places. 이 소방차는 높고 위험한 장소에 닫기 위해 장착된 호스가 있는 긴 팔을 가지고 있단다. Airport fire engine This fire engine carries lots of water to put out fires at the airports. 이 소방차는 공항에서 불을 끄기 위해 많은 물을 가지고 다닌단다. Fire emergency trucks Rescue truck It quickly brings chief rescue workers to the scene or take injured people to the hospital. 이 트럭은 주된 구조 요원을 현장에 급파하거나 다친 사람들을 병원으로 데려다준단다. Small fire truck This fire truck is so fast that it can reach the scene before larger or slower trucks can. 이 소방트럭은 아주 빠르기 때문에 더 크고 느린 트럭들보다 먼저 사고 현장에 도착할 수 있단다. Special equipment truck If dangerous chemicals or electric shortcuts are a cause for a fire, this truck carries special equipments to put out the flames. 위험한 화학적, 전기적 요인의 불이 났을때, 이 트럭은 불을 끄기 위한 특별한 장비들을 운반한다. Look, there are many equipments in this truck. 봐, 많은 장비들이 이 안에 있지. Water pump truck It carries water and foam. 이 트럭은 물과 소화 거품을 가지고 다닌단다. Whoosh! Whoosh! 쉭쉭 Out shoots the water! 물을 발사한다. Road builders Some trucks make new roads. 어떤 트럭들 새로운 길을 만든단다. Let's see what kinds of things are in road builders. 길 만드는 트럭에 어떤것들이 있는지 보자꾸나. grader This grader makes the earth even. 이 그레이더는 땅을 평탄하게 해준단다. paver This truck is a machine that paves asphalts. 이 트럭은 아스팔트를 포장하는 기계란다. scraper It hauls away dirt.이것은 흙을 운반하는 트럭이란다. roller It flattenes the surface of a ground. 이 트럭은 땅의 표면을 고르게 해준단다. Loaders and lifters giant wheel loader Wow, this giant wheel loader is loading a heavy rock. 와 이 큰 휠로우더는 무거운 바위를 싣고 있네. wheel loader The bucket on this wheel loader is like a giant shovel. 이 휠로우더에 있는 버킷은 꼭 큰 삽 같구나. It loads soil in the dump trucks or carries it. 이것은 덤프트럭에 흙을 실어 넣거나 운반한단다. fork lift truck This truck can pick up heavy loads of boxes or bricks and stack them neatly. 이 트럭은 무거운 상자나 벽돌을 들어올려서 반듯하게 쌓는단다. bulldozer This truck pushes stones and soil out of the way. 이 트럭은 돌이나 흙을 밀어낸단다. truck loader crane This crane can lift heavy loads. 이 크레인은 무거운 짐들을 들어올릴 수 있단다. dump truck How many dump trucks are there? 여기 덤프트럭이 몇 대 있니? Four.4개요. This one is very little, and this one is very big. 이것은 아주 작고, 이것은 아주 크구나. Heavy loads of soil or stones are tipped out where they are needed on the building site. 무거운 흙이나 돌이 공사현장에서 필요한 곳에 기울여서 버려진단다. Diggers digger It digs at the back and shovels at the front. 이것은 뒤로는 땅을 퍼내고, 앞으로는 삽으로 흙을 뜬단다. wheeled excavator, track excavator, giant excavator There are three sorts of excavator. 여기 세가지 종류의 포크레인이 있구나. Excavators have a long arm with a toothed scoop that digs holes in the ground. 포크레인은 땅에서 구멍을 파는 톱니모양의 삽이 있는 긴 팔을 가지고 있단다. concrete crusher This powerful machine can break up concrete slabs. 이 힘있는 기계는 콘크리트 판을 부실수 있단다. Mighty trucks Wow, these trucks are very big and look strong. 와 이 트럭들은 크고, 힘세 보이는구나. racing truck It's a racing truck. Go go! 이것은 경주용 트럭이구나. 이겨라, 이겨라. heavy recovery truck This truck tows damaged vehicles. It is strong enough to pull more than five times its own weight. 이 트럭은 손상된 차들을 견인한단다. 자기 무게의 다섯배나 더 나가는 것을 끌 수 있을만큼 힘이 세지. mobile crane This huge mobile crane lifts heavy objects. 이 큰 가동성이 있는 크레인은 무거운 물체를 들어올린단다. It has 18 wheels to help it steer. 지탱하기 위해서 18개의 바퀴를 가지고 있지. Shall we count them? 한번 세어볼까? monster truck Does it look like a monster? 이게 괴물처럼 보이니? No.아니요. So, why is it called a monster truck? 그런데, 왜 괴물 트럭이라고 불리는 걸까? Maybe, it's as strong as a monster. 아마 괴물처럼 힘이 센가봐. Little truck tow truck If you car breaks down, it might be towed to a garage by a tow truck like this. 차가 고장나면, 이 견인차로 아마 차고까지 견인되어야 할것이다. delivery van This van delievers packages. 이 차는 짐을 배달하는 차란다. farm truck It is a truck for working in the farm. 이것은 농장에서 일하는 트럭이지. pick-up truck The back of this truck is open, making it easy to load. 이 트럭의 뒤는 오픈되어 있어서 짐을 실기가 편리하단다. Farm machines A farmer uses many tough machines around the farm. 농부들은 농장 주위에서 많은 단단한 기계들을 사용한단다. farm loader On a farm farmers uses this loader. 농장에서는 농부들이 이 로우더를 사용한단다. tractors There are two tractors, one is red and the other is green. 여기 트랙터가 두대가 있구나. 하나는 빨간색, 하나는 초록색. Look at these wheels. 이 바퀴들 좀 봐. They really look strong. 정말 튼튼하게 생겼다. Tractors have powerful engines so that they can pull other large farm machines. 트랙터는 힘센 엔진이 있어서 다른 농장 기계들을 끌수 있단다. farm buggy It can travel anywhere without getting stuck or falling over. 이것은 어디에 빠지거나 기울어질 걱정 없이 다닐 수 있단다. Tractor attachments Shall we see what kinds of things are attached to a tractor? 트랙터에 어떤것들이 달려 있나 살펴 볼까? tractor with baler This tractor has bale at the back. 이 트렉터는 뒤에 칸막이 가로장을 가지고 있구나. tractor with plough These sharp blades break up the soil, getting it ready for the new crop to be planted. 이 날카로운 날들이 흙을 갈아서, 새로운 농작물을 심을 준비를 한다. tractor with trailer A trailer is useful for carrying grain. 트레일러는 곡물을 운반하는데 유용하다. tractor with muck spreader It is used for spreading muck on the soil. 이것은 흙에 비료를 뿌릴때 쓰인다. tractor with fork-lift A farmer moves heavy bales of hay with a fork-lift fixed to the front of a tractor. 농부는 무거운 건초 더미를 트랙터 앞에 고정되어 있는 지게를 이용해 운반한다.
