When I was younger, not everybody had smartphones.
Kids with smartphones were always envied by kids who didn¡¯t.
And everybody literally ¡®competed¡¯ about who has the latest model of smartphone.
But it does not work that way now. These days, almost everybody in my class has a smartphone, regardless of what¡¯s the latest model and what¡¯s not. In fact, they doesn¡¯t care who has the latest model. (well, almost)
I am saying that smartphones were a symbol of wealth before, but not now.
Every time I ask someone ¡®why¡¯ they are using an old type of smartphone, they just simply answer, ¡°I am satisfied with this phone, and I don¡¯t really need a new and latest model.¡±
I think so too. I am using an iPhone 6S model, which is quite old, since iPhone 8 already came out.
But I am so satisfied with my phone, and I am going to use it until it doesn¡¯t work, or too inconvenient to use.
Still, I feel envious when I am looking at someone using the latest phone model, but it doesn¡¯t mean I wants to change my phone into a new one.
New, and expensive smartphones are coming out every day.
But what will happen if almost nobody wants to buy the new one because it is too expensive, and satisfied in their old phone?
I think that is next to think about.
