Do you like sugar?
Though I have never felt that I actually like sugar, but the fact is- I do!
I never realized that sparkling drinks have that much sugar, and I drank it without caution. And many other things contains much more sugar than we expect- like fruit juice from stores!
As you can see, a bottle of coke contains 16 cubes of sugar. (That¡¯s quite a lot, because we normally put 2~3 sugar cubes in coffee.)
But we don't say that coke is too sugary, so people think coke does not contain that much sugar. As I have said, coke is high in sugar and fat.
This is very disturbing to people who wants to lose weight.
So coca-cola developed zero-calorie cola (Or diet cola), Which is sugar-free. But to my surprise, it was no different in taste compared to the original!
I was really curious, and I made a little research.
The truth was, they didn¡¯t use sugar, but they used another material called aspartame, which increases appetite, leading to more fat, and more unhealthy.
This was the result of ¡®avoiding¡¯ sugar.
We should try to avoid ¡®having too many sugar¡¯, not the sugar itself and use something unhealthy.
But how we can reduce sugar from our lives?
We know that sugar is not very healthy, but we are still having a lot.
I am thinking, that food companies should act first.
People are having sugar without knowing how much they are having them, and let¡¯s admit it, there¡¯s too much sugar in almost every food.
So what I suggest is to label the amount of sugar on every merchandise they produce.
Or the easiest way is to reduce some sugar from products.
And we could be careful by ourselves.
We¡¯re the one who perchase sugary goods, arn¡¯t we?
We could boycott some products, or perchase another one which is low in sugar.
Or putting less sugar in handmade foods is one way.
Everybody knows that sugar is unhealthy, but it is an essential part of life.
It is converted into fat, you know! And fat is really important, too.
I hope everybody realizes the good and bad of sugar and use it wisely.
