dumpling - 만두(half-circle dumpling)

아이들에게 이야기할때는 떡국이라고 설명을 덧붙여주죠..

몇번 말하니까 익숙해지네요..

After the bows they give you some money as a New Year's gift.

또는 Afler the bows they give you some handsel.

(새해 선물을 handsel이란 단어를 사용해서 쓰기도 하는군요.)

And then we usually eat some rice-cake soup for breakfast.

That is a kind of traditional dish.

떡국도 rice cake soup이라고 썼는데 정말 만두도 들어가니 뭐라고 표현할지 모르겠네요.

rice cake dumpling suoup ??? 그냥 순 우리말이므로 소리나는 대로 영어식 표기하면 안될까요?

soup 앞에 a bowl of 또는 그냥 some을 넣어주면 더 영어스러울 듯...

우리말엔 그눔의 관사란 개념이 없어서 참말 헷갈리는 것 같아요.
