  This characters were living in Denmark. Germany brought World war second.

So, Germany occupied many countries including Denmark. And Germany was searching Jews.

2. Why did the button shop close?

  Because, the button shop’s owner was Jew, his friend took care of his family to be safe.

3. Annemarie had one older sister, Lise. What happened with her?

  Annemarie’s one older sister died in a car accident.

4. Annemarie’s father tricked the German soldiers if you are him, how would you trick the German soldiers?
I would make a blond wig wear to Ellen. Because, Lise was the blond same as

Annemarie. Then, German soldiers would be tricked.

5. What did mean “Is the weather good for fishing?”

  I think “Is the weather good for escape to Sweden?”

The background of this book is when Nazi massacring Europe jewish people.

2. Why did the button shop close?

Because button shop owner Mrs. Hirsch was jew.

3. Annemarie had one older sister, Lize. What happened with her?

Her sister  Lize was very kind and pretty. But she got and accident before her wedding.

4. Annemarie's father tricked the germen  soldiers if you are him, how would you trick the germen soldiers?

If I was Annemarie's father I will trick " She had  black hair when she was very young."

like this. It's most simple way to trick germen soldiers.

5. What did mean "Is the weather good for fishing?"

It is secret password. It's Annemarie's father and uncle Henrik to check to hide Ellen.

1. Write the background of this book briefly.

-Annemarie Johansen and Ellen Rosen were best friend but Denmark and Copenhagen was in a war. So soldiers was looking foward to Ellen so she had to hide at Annemarie's house.

2. Why did the button shop close?

-The button shop closed the owner of that shop(Mrs. Hirsch) was Jewish. Nazis hated Jewish but Mrs. hersch was Jewish so she had to close the shop.

3. Annemarie had one older sister, Lize. What happened with her?

-Annemarie's sister Lize was very pretty and kind. But she got an accient only 2 weeks before the wedding.

4. Annemarie’s father tricked the germen soldiers. If you are him, how would you trick the germen soldiers?

-If i was Annemarie's father, I would tell them that her hair was always Dark-black since she was born! Because i think it is the most simple and easy way to trick them.

5. What did mean “Is the weather good for fishing?”

-"Is the weather good for fishing?" is like a secert message between papa and Uncle Henrik. It tells Uncle Henrik that Mama and the children were coming for a visit.

일찌감치 중간고사를 끝내고 들뜬 마음 미션시작으로  붙들려고  하네요^^

중1때와는 다르게 시험 범위도 많아지고  난이도도  올라가니 평소에 꾸준히 공부하는 힘이

 중요함을 더 느끼게 되는것 같아요

학교 수련회도 취소되고 풀이죽은 아이들을 위하여 그나마 학교에서 운동장에 천체망원경을 준비하여

교내천체관측활동행사를 해서 친구들과 재미나게 별관측활동하고 왔어요

  Its background is Denmark when Nazis seized power of Germany.

2. Why did the button shop close?

   Because Mrs. Hirsch (the owner of the button shop) is Jewish. The button shop was closed by Nazis the group that hates Jewish.

3. Annemarie had one older sister, Lize. What happened with her?  

1.       When she was baby, she had a black hair. But when she is being older her hair gone and blond hair grew.

2.      She died in an accident two weeks before her wedding.

  If I am Annemarie’s father I will trick the germen soldiers like “She has had black hair since she was young. I think it is inheritance.”

5. What did mean “Is the weather good for fishing?”

  It means ‘been died people come to home for the rest before bead, and their loved ones to be with them before burial.’
