Chapter Eleven

Clovis is Merovius's grandson. Clovis married a princess from one barbarian tribe Clotilda, a Burgundian. He fought other tribes and forced them to accept him as a leader. He defeat the last Roman soldiers left in Gaul. He convinced other Frankish cheifs to swear allegiance to him. And eventually, he ruled over all of Gaul. His empire became known as the Frankish Empire. Today, we called this part of the world France, after the Franks.

North Africa's great fighter Tariq went to capture Spain for Islam. He organized seven thousand fighting men into small groups. One hot May morning, each group got onto a ship. As soon as all of his had came ashore,he burned all the ships.

But the Muslims began to worry about their wealth inside their tents. And instead of fighting, they rode back to protect their tents. They were surrounded by Franks and killed.

Columbus did not found the America firstly. Leif and the other Greenlanders found the America a hundred years before Christopher Columbus journeyed across the ocean.

5. Summarize about the battle of Hastings.

Harold's army walked a long distance and needed a rest so they set up a camp on a hill at night. He thought that William would wait for him to come down. But William decided to climb the hill. And they met on the hill. The Battle of the Hastings had begun. And Harold was killed and the English surrendered.

줄리가 토욜에 마친 미션을 제가 바빠서 이제야 올리네요.

줄리도 찬공기 알러지가 있어서 요즘 이비인후과에서 약을 타먹고 있어요.

코도 근질근질 눈도 근질근질 귀도 근질근질 한다는데

어느날 조금 참고 공부하자니깐

"엄만 내마음 모르잖아요."

합니다.(대충짐작만 할뿐 사실 저는 잘 모릅니다. 그런데 줄리친구 엄마가

찬공기 알러지가 있다는데 구멍이란 구멍은 다 근질거린다는군요.

그 소리 듣고 얼마나 더 짠하던지... )

환절기에 우리 2기친구들 건강 잘 챙겨가면서 공부하시길 바래요~^^

환절기네요.

감기가 다 빗겨가면 얼마나 좋을까요.

벨라는 감기 걸리면 항상 코로 와요.콧물도 안나고  부어서 꽉 막히는 증상이요.

이건 고칠 수 있는 방법 없을까요.

그래도 좀 컸다고 일년에 한번정도만 그러고 넘어가니 다행이다 싶기도 하고...

감기 안걸리게 우리 아이들 체력 튼튼해지길 바랍니다~

요즘 기온차가 심해 감기걸리기 딱~ 이죠.... 모두 감기조심하세요^^

중1/스텔라

유석이가 계속 몸 컨디션이 좋지 않은데, 미션 내느라 고생 많았겠어요. 고맙고 얼른 낫기를 바래요~~ 

정말 날이 선선해진다 했더니, 어느새 조금 춥다싶은 생각이 들 정도네요.

일교차도 크다보니 감기로 고생하는 사람도 많나봐요. 스텔라는 이런 날씨엔 비염이 도지더라구요...ㅠㅠ.  

저흰 이번주에 시아버님 제사, 남편 생일, 결혼기념일이 있어 쫌 바쁘게 지내고 있어요.  

스텔라는 학교, 학원 모두 즐겁게 다니고 있구요. 아마 둘다 친구들이랑 노는 재미가 클 거예요...^^

무엇보다 권투도장을 꾸준히 다녀주고 있어 좋구만요~~

중1 정유석...

유석이가 개학후 계속 감기에 컨디션이 별로네요..

일주일에 3번 수영을 다니는데, 날이 추워지니 걱정이여요..

유석이에게 물어보니, 중1 2학기도 1학기와 똑같다고 합니다..

우리 2기 친구들 즐거운 2학기 되었으면 좋겠어여..

앞선 미션을 세 개나 건너뛰고 우선 유석이 파트를 했습니다..

이번 주에 구멍을 빨리 메꾸었으면 좋겠습니다.T_T
